About the Role
The Project Development Engineer, 'PDE', is part of the client management team and responsible for identifying and pursuing prospective projects with key customers in the Geotechnical market, from lead generation to conversion. This is a mission-critical role for our organization as the spear-head of new business across all of our lines of business.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the Indian market.
Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and propose tailored solutions.

Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and geohazard mitigation.

About the role.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be planning and delivering engineering projects for the McCain North America within agreed budgets, timeframes, and standards. This includes the preparation and delivery of detailed scopes of work, preparing budgets, planning and allocating project resources, and keeping stakeholders and internal clients informed throughout the entire process via a structured communication scheme. What you'll be doing.
Delivery of projects and engineering activities, including major capital projects, operational support and commissioning, qualification and validation (CQV) of buildings, utilities and equipment.
Efficiently planning, developing and completing technical projects. Not only manage the progress and financial aspects of your own projects, but also supervise the projects carried out by local engineers. Take care of reporting on these. In addition, Project Engineer plays a crucial role in managing the Capex budget for the relevant location. There is also the possibility of carrying out projects at multiple locations.

To perform appropriate risk management to minimize project risks.
Ensure Health & Safety & Food Safety requirements are delivered to the highest standard in all aspects of the role.
Establish and maintain relationships with all major suppliers/vendors.
Ensure stakeholders and internal clients are informed and satisfied throughout the project phases.
Lead the design, review, and approval of electrical distribution systems and power infrastructure to ensure the plant's electricity needs are met safely and efficiently.
Ensure the integration of control systems with the plant's operational requirements, including automated monitoring and control of production lines, utilities, and auxiliary systems.
Oversee the installation of electrical wiring, switchgear, transformers, and control systems during the construction phase.
Lead the commissioning and start-up activities for process equipment, and electrical and automation systems, ensuring that all systems function according to design and are ready for full operation.
Ensure the selection and installation of accurate and reliable instrumentation for process monitoring and control, including temperature, pressure, flow, and level sensors.
Establish procedures for the ongoing maintenance of electrical and control systems, ensuring long-term reliability and efficiency.
What you'll need to be successful.
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
Have a strong understanding of industrial automation systems including PLC/SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems.
Experienced with power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, and electrical protection systems.
Proficient in instrumentation and process control systems (e.g., flow meters, temperature sensors, and pressure transmitters).
Familiar with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP.
Strong knowledge of project management principles and engineering best practices.

The Senior Project Delivery (SPDE) role exists to manage the end-to-end delivery of site capital projects for our Hellman's Mayonnaise factory in Chicago. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Construction Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential project-level support to our Project Managers by overseeing a variety of tasks related to project planning, cost management, procurement, and communication. This position involves working closely with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure that construction projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers with a wide range of tasks including planning, forecasting, job cost management, and customer relations.
Coordinate and track purchase orders, ensuring timely deliveries of materials and equipment.
Organize warehouse operations, including coordinating deliveries and maintaining accurate records.
Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Team Leaders, Vendors, Sales Executives, Estimators, and other stakeholders.
Assist with material buyouts, creating purchase orders, securing subcontractor quotes, and writing subcontracts.
Process submittals and manage the operations, maintenance, and closeout processes of projects.
Help with the forecasting and scheduling of projects, ensuring all timelines are met.
Coordinate the submission and review of Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage their impact on project scope.
Attend project meetings and collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth execution of tasks.
Assist in the negotiation and pricing of change orders.
Ensure accurate project documentation and reporting, providing daily updates to the team.
Work closely with the General Contractor's Construction Manager to manage project requirements related to schedule, sequence, production, and quality.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Review project specifications and make decisions regarding equipment and materials.
Expedite equipment deliveries to meet tight project deadlines.
Qualifications:
A degree in Construction Management or at least 10 years of commercial/industrial experience, specifically in HVAC/Plumbing installations for high-rise buildings, hospitals, hotels, processing plants, etc.
Minimum of 50% of work time spent on-site, coordinating with General Contractors and project owners.
Proven experience managing construction projects ranging from $5k to $15m, with multiple active projects.
Experience managing large-scale projects that span over a year, with the ability to handle continuous material and labor flow.
Prior experience as a Construction Manager for a mechanical contractor or subcontractor is preferred.
