The position will be employed by the Lurie Children's Medical Group (LCMG) and part of the Operating Unit of Pediatrics. The position will be part of the Lurie Children's Neurology Team at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) in the western suburbs of Chicago.
The Lurie Children's pediatric program at Central DuPage Hospital is the 5th largest pediatric center in metro Chicago and includes a 7-bed PICU, 35-bed Level III NICU, 22 general pediatric beds staffed 24/7 by pediatric hospitalists, a 16-bed pediatric emergency department and extensive outpatient clinics offering 22 pediatric subspecialties. CDH is a pediatric regional referral center with over 500 incoming pediatric transports per year including over 100 neurologic transports per year.
This fully affiliated position will have outpatient clinics at Central DuPage Hospital and will participate in inpatient consults at Central DuPage Hospital shared with four other Lurie Children's pediatric neurologists. Participation in teaching and research conferences at CDH and downtown is encouraged.

As a Stockroom Assistant, you will
Deliver exceptional customer service and support in the Factory Store by quickly and accurately receiving, printing, picking, and packing customer orders, assisting customers with carrying products to and installing products in/on their vehicles, and assisting with on-site customer product questions
Utilize ERP system to maintain and manage the stockroom inventory on hand by conducting daily and monthly inventory and cycle counts of the store and stockroom, identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies, creating BOLs for restocking products, and maintaining various daily logs for product returns
Verify and shelve curbside orders in an organized and accessible manner in appropriate locations per curbside procedures

Maintain accurate knowledge of inventory and their respective locations
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in supply rooms or other areas

Designate stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
Interact with customers when applicable
