What You'll Do:

Provide occupational health services, including DOT exams and treatment of workers' compensation injuries.
Conduct pre-employment physicals and other job-related medical evaluations.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Serve as a clinical leader, ensuring high-quality patient care.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience in occupational medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care.
Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a healthcare team.
Strong clinical skills with experience in both fast-track and main emergency department settings.
Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications & Certifications:
Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.

The Opportunity
NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Part-Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Marble Falls, TX.
Minimum requirement: 4 shifts per month.

Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate and treat patients in an urgent care and occupational health setting

Required Qualifications
* Active, unrestricted Texas PA or NP license
* Active DEA
* NCCPA certification (PA) or ANCC/AANP certification (NP)
* NP candidates must be certified to treat all ages (e.g., FNP)
* Bachelor's degree (PA) or Master's degree (NP)
* Active BLS certification
* Comfortable treating patients of all ages
* Proficient with EHR systems
* Ability to work occasional weekends/holidays
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience interpreting preliminary X-rays
* Suturing experience
* Master's degree for PAs
* Previous experience in urgent care, ER fast-track, or walk-in clinics
* DOT Certification may be required; if not certified, we will register and cover the cost after hire
