An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a prestigious outpatient clinic in Beverly Hills, California. This 13-week assignment supports a high-performing ambulatory care network where the LVN will assist in vascular procedures, provide direct patient care, and float to the Urology Clinic within the same facility as needed. The role is ideal for a clinically strong LVN who excels in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and demonstrates proficiency in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and Epic charting.
Responsibilities:
The LVN will deliver safe and efficient nursing care in an outpatient setting, assist physicians with procedures, and perform sterile field setups for vascular interventions. Primary duties include administering medications (oral, IM, SQ), performing IV therapy and phlebotomy, conducting vital signs and pain assessments, and managing wound care and dressing changes. The clinician will also complete patient admissions, reconcile medications, interpret laboratory results, and ensure accurate documentation in Epic. Additional responsibilities include supporting telephonic triage, performing Foley catheter insertions, administering vaccines, and maintaining aseptic techniques. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team is key to ensuring optimal clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
Candidates must hold an active California LVN license (no pending accepted) and have a minimum of two years of recent outpatient clinic experience, plus acute care experience within the past five years. Required certifications include BLS (AHA or ARC) and IV certification, with proven proficiency in IV starts. Epic charting experience is mandatory. Strong communication skills and fluency in English are required. Travel experience is not necessary, and local candidates within the Beverly Hills area are accepted.
Schedule Details:
This position follows a day shift schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with five 8-hour shifts per week. The contract duration is 13 weeks beginning December 8, 2025, with a 12-hour orientation provided. There are no weekends, on-call duties, or pre-approved PTO options available. Schedule flexibility or change requests cannot be accommodated.
Additional Information:
The LVN will work within an ambulatory outpatient clinic setting, supporting adult and geriatric populations. The clinic averages approximately 13 patient visits per day, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 and three exam rooms. Clinicians will be required to float to the Urology Clinic located in the same facility. Scrub color is burgundy, and validated parking is provided. The clinic uses Epic for electronic documentation.
Compensation & Pay Structure:
This position offers an all-inclusive pay rate of $49.88/hour. The total estimated weekly pay is $1,995/week.
Observed Holidays:
The clinic observes the following holidays: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day After Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
If a holiday falls on a Saturday, closure is observed on the preceding Friday; if on a Sunday, closure is observed on the following Monday. Hours are only paid if the clinic remains open on the observed holiday.

Marin Ventures is a community day program operating Weekdays 7am to 3:30 pm for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The LVN plays a key role in supporting the health and well-being of adults with developmental disabilities attending our adult day program. This is a hands-on role works in conjunction with the Program Director to implement the vision and mission of Marin Ventures. This role holds an assigned caseload of participants with medical needs, ensuring that individuals receive high-quality, person-centered support that promotes independence, personal growth, and community participation. The LVN is also responsible for overseeing all medical service delivery across the organization, tracking and compliance of medications and services for all clients and ensuring that the highest level of adherence to service schedules is maintained with superior client satisfaction. The LVN will be responsible for observing the facility and environment for cleanliness and safety, maintaining supplies and a variety of "on-duty" responsibilities shared by all staff. RESPONSIBILITIES Medical Case Management
Manages assigned caseload of participants with identified medical needs. Including proactively planning and training staff to prevent and/or mitigate negative effects of medical conditions.
Act as the first point of contact to address emergency medical issues such as seizures, injuries, or diabetic emergencies occurring at program.
Perform routine nursing assessments and maintain accurate health records for all individuals as assigned.
Develop and update individualized care plans in coordination with program staff, families, other agency staff, and external medical providers.
Provide direct nursing care as needed and ensure appropriate responses to medical events or emergencies.
Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and outside service providers to facilitate access to care and ensure continuity of support.
Supervise, support, and train other team members - direct support professionals (DSPs) on health-related practices, including medication administration, infection control, and emergency protocols
Ensures compliance with participants' medication schedules. Manages centrally stored medication including intake and reordering. Notifies all staff of changes in medications given during the program day.
Trains DSPs on infection control, Covid-19 protocols, and any other emerging emergency infection control protocols. As well as ensures protocols are being followed by DSPs.
GENERAL DSP STAFF DUTIES
Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding services for adults with developmental disabilities including reporting suspected abuse or neglect.
Maintains a safe and clean environment for the program at all times.
Substitutes on the floor as a DSP when needed.
Protects and promotes participants' rights, including confidentiality, privacy, dignity and freedom from abuse.
Interacts courteously and appropriately with participants, family members, visitors, staff from other agencies which serve our participants, and other Marin Ventures employees, under a variety of conditions and circumstances.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Integrated Services Program Manager provides general direction and supervision.Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
· Develops and implements health plans, policies and procedures that encompass compliance, procedures, and evaluation of services that meet Federal, State and Grantee Instructional Memo requirements.
· Reviews the health screenings for enrolled students.
· Identify each child's health needs taking into account available health information, including the child's health records and/or family and staff concerns.
· Observes classrooms to guide program staff and parents to identify any new or recurring developmental or oral health needs.
· Plans and implements staff and parent education, community outreach, and health committee activities.
· Develops and maintains community resource networks and negotiates interagency agreements and contracts with local providers for health and dental services.
· Identify and utilize local community agencies to provide nutritional education services to parents and staff.
· Coordinates multi-disciplinary teams for intervention and follow-up of documented health challenges when necessary.
· Utilizes data management systems to track and monitor the effectiveness of service delivery.
· Promotes preventive health services and early intervention.
· Shares with parents and staff on policies for health emergencies that require a rapid response for immediate medical attention.
· Ensures children are up to date on an age-appropriate schedule of well childcare, developmental screenings (audio/vision), dental care and immunizations.

with outside health professionals to provide services to the Head Start/Early Head Start program in such
areas as hearing/vision referrals, child health and nutrition screenings/exams, dental services, and others, as

d. Health Education Curriculum: Oversees Child Safety sections of Performance Standards to include fire
drills, first aid kits, medication administration systems and systems for Safety Committees in collaboration

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of:
Must demonstrate considerable knowledge of health, nutrition, human development, community health, nursing principles, practices, and procedures, public health programs and other resources and the availability of such programs in the community. Must exhibit skills in the operation and maintenance of basic instruments and equipment used in patient care (e.g. items commonly found in a first aid kit); Community Care Licensing Division requirements, including child medical assessments, immunizations; comprehensive knowledge of health services that promote child development, health, safety, in accordance with Health Services Milestones in the Head Start Performance Standards; California Immunization Registry (CAIR); guidelines of state nursepractice act (NPA) and its rules; knowledge of local resources, languages and customs of the families in the agency's service area; basic software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Minimum of three years of professional health services experience involving the coordination of medical services with community health, occupational health, school nursing, pediatrics and related health practitioners and community services networks.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
· Successful completion of an initial health examination, performed by or under the supervision of a physician, to determine, at a minimum, if the prospective employee can perform the requirements of the job description
physical requirements.
· Proof of the absence of Tuberculous, from a physician, to show that the prospective employee is cleared to work
with children and families.
· Documentation of current immunizations against Influenza, Measles (MMR) and Pertussis (TDAP).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· Fingerprint clearances from the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Child Abuse Index prior to starting employment.
· Completed and signed statement of any pending and/or prior criminal arrests/charges/convictions related to child sexual abuse, child abuse and neglect, and/or violent felonies.
· Verification that determines eligibility for employment in the United States of America.
· A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation to perform position duties is required.
· As a mandated reporter of child abuse, must immediately report any suspected child abuse and/or neglect to Child Protective Services.
