Definition This position is responsible for supervising the movement of offenders housed in a community corrections facility and in the community on a twenty-four-hour basis. This individual will maintain building security and offender accountability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining order within facility by enforcing rules and regulations, performing headcounts, search and seizure, urinalysis collection and testing, alcolyser screening, detaining offenders if necessary, offender processing, offender escorts, use of NIK Narcotics Identification System tests, and assisting with K-9 unit to complete searches of the facility.
