Patrick Anquetil, Ph.D. is Portal Instrument’s Chief Executive Officer. He brings more than 20 years of experience leading high-tech bioengineering companies from the lab to the marketplace and building world-class teams. Prior to founding Portal, he was co-founder of SynapDx, an autism diagnostic company based on RNA expression analysis, and Aretais, a venture in the field of blood glucose monitoring leveraging advances in Coherent Anti-stokes Raman Spectroscopy. Dr. Anquetil began his career as a science and nanotechnology equity research analyst at Susquehanna International Group authoring and marketing industry and equity research reports to hedge funds and portfolio managers. Dr. Anquetil holds a doctorate in bio-instrumentation from MIT, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a master's degree from the ETH in Zurich and the University of Tokyo. His scientific work has appeared in peer-reviewed publications as well as mainstream media, including MIT Technology Review, Wired Magazine, PBS, and CNBC.

Currently designed an amazing medical device for drug delivery with Portal Instruments.

While not tinkering with devices you can find me participating in one of my many other extra circular activities such as photography, painting or woodworking.

Dr. Kelley was appointed as our Chief Medical Officer in January 2016. From January 2011 to January 2016, Dr. Kelley was the World Wide Vice President of Medical Affairs Medical Surgical Systems of Becton, Dickinson & Company. Prior to that, Dr. Kelley was the Vice President Medical Director for Kimberly Clark from November 2007 to December 2010. From 2005 to 2007, Dr. Kelley served as the medical director for the peripheral interventions and vascular surgery business of Boston Scientific. Before her assignment with Boston Scientific, Dr. Kelley was an assistant professor of vascular surgery and radiology at Yale University from 2003 to 2005. Dr. Kelley is a board certified general and vascular surgeon. Dr. Kelley received her M.D. from Dartmouth Medical School and her B.A. in Biology from Boston University.
