Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician's requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions.
Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation.
Perform supply process duties including placing new orders, stocking/restocking shelves, inventory maintenance, producing not in stock reports.
Provide professional customer service to patients and hospital staff.
Perform administrative tasks, including but not limited to answering phones.
Minimum Qualifications:
Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or graduate from a formal pharmacy technician program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) or a formal pharmacy technician program (i.e., technical, hospital, or retail-based program) or a formal medical services training program of the United States Military.
One year of experience as a pharmacy technician after graduation.
Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
Staff shall complete VA mandatory training as requested and complete ACLS/BLS training and keep ACLS/BLS certifications current throughout the life of the contract. Certification refers to the successful completion of an American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN) approved BLS or ACLS course. The AHA and MTN are the only programs acceptable by VA for obtaining required certification.
Must be a US Citizen.

**Responsibilities**
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist. Perform activities or tasks in specialty pharmacy services.
+ Perform specialized duties such as hazardous drug compounding, medication history, nuclear, and Patient Assistance Program (PAP) as a pharmacy technician.
+ Refill and maintain automated dispensing system. Prepare orders, maintain inventory, and repackage bulk medications. Receive and store incoming supplies.
+ Serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing necessary information. Communicate with external resources such as retail pharmacies, provider officers, and data exchanges.
+ Identify and assist with patient medication access including, benefit investigation, prior authorization, and financial assistance.
+ Assist Pharmacist in preparation of patient education materials.
+ May give immunizations in accordance with state laws.
+ May serve as pharmacist extender in situations such as Caregiver Model of the Future responsibilities. May monitor compliance with regulatory standards and be responsible for inventory and drug shortage management and optimization.
**Requirements**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Pharmacy intern would be acceptable in lieu of.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
**Additional Preferences**
+ ACPE Sterile Compounding Certification REQUIRED

POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs all activities of the Department of Nuclear Medicine in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Hospital. Provides excellent customer support by demonstrating the Northwest values of Innovation, Compassion, Accountability and Teamwork. Peforms Nuclear Medicine (NM) procedures using prescribed technique; maintains proficiency on all related equipment. Communicates with various people within the Department and patients, as well as other customers throughout the organization. Performs a variety of support duties to assure smooth operations of the department. Performs all job duties with a focus on safety for the patient, self and co-workers. Follows universal protocol for patient identification and infectious diseases.
Demonstrates the appropriate level of knowledge in all areas of Nuclear Medicine to include injection of radiopharmaceuticals and other pharmacologic agents related to a procedure.
Uses knowledge of patient positioning and other pharmacolic agents related to a procedure.
Evaluates examination to assure technical quality.
Performs daily check of NM equipment to assure preparedness.
Utilizes HIS/RIS to assure proper ordering and completion of NM procedures.
Explains and answers questions concerning NM procedures.
Recognizes priorities and deals with them appropriately.
Process images according to established protocols.
REQUIREMENTS:
Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
Graduate of a school of Nuclear Medicine
Less than one year of experience
Licensed by the State of MD
Certified by CNMT or ARRT(N) or registry eligible

Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Schedule
* 40 hours per week.
* Monday - Friday 3:00am - 11:00am
* On call (averages about 2 to 3 times per month) and rotating holidays (on average one holiday per year)
* Candidate must be flexible to work different days, hours and schedules based on business need.
Responsibilities
* Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
* Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
* Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
* Processes packages returned from customer locations
* Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
* Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
Qualifications
* High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
* Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record (Class E Missouri driver's license or equivalent preferred, or able to obtain)
* Prior delivery driving experience a plus
* Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
* Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
* Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
* Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work holidays and on-call rotations as needed.
* Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
* Ability to use computers and tablets
* Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
