Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
As a Quality Technician at PPG Lima OH, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Responsibilities:
Audit outgoing shipments per schedule to verify conformance to customer requirements.
Investigate and answer corrective actions for customer quality issues.
Evaluates customer returns and control of non-conforming material.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Maintain and update MITS work instructions.
Conduct customer specific requirement audits.
Assure that all units of operation within the plant adhere to quality standards defined in the Corporate Quality Policy Manual
Take customer calls and investigate issues or report to responsible parties.
Maintenance of measurement and test equipment calibration system.
Able to do statistical analysis including capability studies and gage R&R.
Assist in preparing PPAPs for customer parts.
Other duties as needed to support quality.
Requirements
Should be proficient with Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must possess attention to detail skills.
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.

Summary:
The Quality Engineer supports the direction and objectives to meet the quality needs for DuPont Electronic Polymers at the Dayton, Ohio Facility. This includes maintaining standards of product quality and using quality tools for improving the effectiveness of internal processes. S/he generates and maintains quality data and metrics and drives continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
* Ensures the quality requirements for ISO9001:2015 and other quality standards are implemented and maintained at the Dayton Plant.
* Maintains customer and product specifications management, uses statistical analysis of property data to assesses the capability to meet customer specifications.
* Monitors product properties and control and disposition of non-standard production.
* Become knowledgeable of DEP manufacturing processes and lead production improvement projects to improve quality.
* Familiarize with analytical capabilities and support improvement for both incoming and outbound quality control inspections linked to customer CTQ's and KPI's.
* Lead and/or participate in multifunctional teams for investigation of internal and external (customer complaints) quality non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective action by coordinating team using tools such as 5 Why, FMEA's, Root Cause Analysis, etc. and ensure actions are effective.
* Initiates, monitors, and executes quality improvement programs/events, to align with and achieve COTs (Critical Operating Tasks) or area goals.
* Support or lead manufacturing in maintaining document control such as Standard Practice, Standard Operating Procedures, Check sheets, Tests, etc.
* Support quality training, as needed, for new and existing employees.
Qualifications:
* B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field
* Ability to understand the quality standard relevant to the industry requirements (i.e. ISO 9001:2015) and the controls necessary to achieve and maintain compliance with the standards as appropriate.
* Problem solving skills.
* Understanding of statistical data analysis and its application to improve manufacturing process capability.
* Delivers clear and succinct oral and written messages and able to make complex messages clear both internally and to our customer.
* Demonstrated leadership skills as to drive quality improvements. Required competencies: bias for action, integrity, judgement, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, solid time management skills, fluent communication and teamwork.
Preferred Skills:
* Proficient in Minitab and use of Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
* Exposure to quality tools (Ex. SPC, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA)

The Kapton team is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Engineer at the Circleville, Ohio facility-30 miles south of Columbus, Ohio. This role will work with a diverse team of engineers, operators, and mechanics to provide technical expertise and strategic direction to improve our competitive advantage for the manufacturing of Kapton Polyimide Films. The Kapton facilities consist of polymer manufacturing, solvent distillation and extraction, film casting, and numerous converting operations such as coating, heat treatment, and slitting. The Circleville site has a wide variety of on-site engineering disciplines such as R&D and project engineering, in addition to the 30+ engineers in the Kapton Manufacturing Technology department.

The Manufacturing Technology Engineer role will work to upgrade processes and products that may range from incremental improvements to major technology changes. A primary focus is to improve process efficiency, quality, process safety, yield, plant capacity and Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
· Works with a small team (with operations specialists & production, reliability, & process control engineers) to prioritize, coordinate and execute efforts for the assets of responsibility, exhibiting strong interpersonal skills
· Identifies and works with technical personnel & operations to develop best practices for processes
· Provides technical oversight of ongoing production
· Enables and assists in the training of operators, mechanics and other technical team members to convey the “why” of the fundamentals
· Drives product-by-process through development and documentation of manufacturing standard process
· Designs process improvements (yield, quality, uptime, capacity release)
· Implements large programs and/or process improvements - Test Authorizations, Management of Change
· Leads troubleshooting and root cause failure analyses (RCFAs) for complex issues
· Utilizes Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma methodology
· Responsible to ensure adequate basic data is created for CapEx projects and provides resourcing support (e.g. development and/or Plans for Commissioning, Decommissioning, Start-Up and Shut Down)

Minimum qualifications:

· 1+ Year Industrial plant experience working with PSM critical processes/systems
· Experience with control systems, PLCs, HMIs
· Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to diagnose, troubleshoot, solve or help others solve equipment and/or process issues.
· Demonstrated knowledge of key PSM Technology elements such as Process Hazards Analysis, Process Technology, Management of Change-Technology, RAGAGEP among others
· Demonstrated ability to teach, coach, mentor, develop others, and work in a team-based environment
· Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects

As Process Engineer in the Cleveland facility, you are responsible for providing engineering support to production processes within the plant.
