Responsibilities
Work in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital with 46 rehab beds and a 10-bed LTAC/ICU
Responsible for CT using a GE 16-slice scanner and X-ray coverage with Siemens portable and GE C-arm for MBS studies
Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Sunday to Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call required 2-3 nights per week with low volume
Every Sunday is a required work day
Floating required within the hospital and to affiliated facilities as needed, including possible coverage at Providence Alaska Medical Center
Epic EMR is used; experience with Epic is required
Low volume patient setting
Role includes both CT and X-ray responsibilities as needed
First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
Scrub color is flexible; any color may be worn
Free parking is provided on site
Travelers must complete pre-start and annual online training modules
Travelers are expected to float and refusal may result in termination
Travelers may only work a maximum of 1 calendar year per assignment and must take a 6-month break before returning
Former permanent staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler

Responsibilities
Work in a hospital radiology department providing X-Ray and CT scan services
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week assignment duration
No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
RTO (requests for time off) must be less than one week
Candidates who have been permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
Returning travelers must not have been perm staff at the facility within 2 years
No Canadian Social Insurance Numbers (SIN) accepted
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in X-Ray and CT Scan
Valid driver's license required
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities
Large hospital setting with 492 beds and a Level II Trauma Center
Covers adult inpatient and outpatient cases, with some pediatric outpatient or ED cases
Average caseload of 4 patients per hour, with a 1:1 patient ratio
Performs trauma, biopsy drainage, angiogram, and stroke perfusion scans
Utilizes GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR
Day shifts available, typically 8 hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Potential to float throughout the main Radiology department and different areas as needed
Weekend rotation typically once per month, subject to departmental needs
Holiday coverage required per hospital policy, with expectation of one major and one minor holiday
Voluntary on-call options available
Duties include performing advanced CT procedures such as biopsies, angiograms, trauma and stroke perfusion imaging
Work under Level II Trauma Center protocols and support acute patient care

Scrub color is flexible; any color allowed
All candidates must complete a hospital orientation and 2-3 shifts on unit with a preceptor
