Essential Functions

2. Practice safe driving techniques on a daily basis while operating Matheson Tri-Gas vehicles to prevent of work-related accidents and injuries.
3. Reporting of all accidents and unsafe acts/conditions (near misses) while performing normal duties.
4. Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures as well as company employment policies and practices. Understand all company standard operating procedures, departmental work instructions, and local work instructions that affect the performance of their duties.
5. Completion and submission of all required regulatory compliance and company documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
6. Drive delivery van/truck. Load/unload vehicle.
Collect payments from COD customer (cash, check) and following company cash processing procedures.
Alert salespersons/office of customer concerns or order discrepancies. Follow preset delivery route.
Organize truck to ensure ease of delivery and unloading.
Close delivery run by checking into the office to review invoices, payments, and trip sheets
Maintain vehicle; oil checks, refueling, etc.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up and down inclines, stairs, changes in walking surfaces and elevations.
Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift 25 pounds, 50 pounds on occasion, and 80 pounds as a team lift.

Your part in our story:
The CDL A Driver will be responsible for transporting bulk water in tankers, and finished product in trailers, between our Chippewa Falls locations. When not busy driving truck, they will fill in as a forklift driver, unloading/loading products into trailers or racks.
- Transport products between plants using semi tractor-trailer/tanker.
- Complete all prescribed quality checks in a timely and correct manner.

About you - preferred requirements for this role
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid current Class A CDL and Fed Med card.
At least 3 years' clean driving records, 7 years with no DUI's.
Previous truck driving experience or certificate from training school
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Able to work 5pm-5:10am on a 2-2-3 rotation, including every other weekend
