Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance. 2. Inspect, operate, test, maintains and repairs mechanical devices, machinery, equipment and tools. 3. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. 4. Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery. 5. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. 6. Installs, assembles, repairs and maintains electrical and gas appliances, equipment, systems, fixtures, lights, electronic components, plumbing systems and fixtures. 7. Paint or repair surfaces, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures. 8. Maintain by providing landscaping (trimming, cutting, weeding, & planting) and snow removal(plowing, shoveling, and salting) to ensure their appearance and safety for employees, residents and visitors. 9. Fabricates, installs, repairs, maintains and replaces structural items such as counters, cabinets, partitions, floor and ceiling tile, gutters, roofs, etc. 10. Prepares assigned areas for various activities and events by clearing and/or rearranging furniture, setting up equipment, removing trash, etc. 11. Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and looking for hazards. 12. Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies following safety procedures 13. Input work requests and detailed information in electronic system. 14. Install equipment to improve the energy or operational efficiency of buildings. 15. Attend and participate in all appropriate meetings and training opportunities in order to keep informed on current information and skill development. 16. Follow established policies and procedures including but not limited to, Presbyterian Villages policies and procedures, Safety policies and procedures, Federal, state and local regulations. 17. All other duties as assigned Qualifications Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Experience: One to two years related experience in maintenance required. Computer Skills Ability to operate a computer and operate maintenance software. Certificates & Licenses Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required. Certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC a plus. Other Requirements On-call for maintenance emergencies required. Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician FULL-TIME Opportunity in Gaylord, MI. * Starting Salary: $76,752 - $111,946 annually (including 20% geo modifier) * IA Stipend 2,080 * Float Stipend 10,400 * Sign-On Bonus 12,500 * 3 weeks on/ 1 week off We're hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This technician will be qualified to support our Pilatus PC-12 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients. Responsibilities * Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician. * Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures. * Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards. * Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew. * Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members. * Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team. Minimum Required Qualifications * Three (3) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience * Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license * Valid State issued Driver's license * High School diploma or GED equivalent * Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge * EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning * Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations. * Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program. * Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs. * Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
