Nurse Intern II- 4E Clinical Decision Unit 0.4 FTE
Prohealth Care 3.9
Clinic registered nurse job at Pro Health Care Services
The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is a 15-bed, outpatient specialty area within the hospital. It may also be called an observation unit. It is a place where a patient's health can be monitored when they do not meet the requirements for inpatient hospitalization yet require further observation before they go home.
The unit allows our patients to rest in a comfortable, private healing space and to stay longer than a traditional emergency room visit. It is designed for patients who need tests or short-term treatments. A patient in this unit will benefit from a quick assessment of their condition, less time in the hospital, a lower cost of care, and a better experience.
