The CAD Technician - 3D at Toth and Associates, Inc. (TOTH) is crucial in supporting the engineering team by drafting and preparing detailed project design concepts, plans, and construction documents for various civil projects. As a member of the design team, this position provides an opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and design project teams to develop civil layout drawings using a 3D model. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Draft project design concepts, plans, and construction documents for various civil projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential developments. Develop and prepare construction documents to improve public works facilities, including grading, roadway geometric layouts, erosion control, and drainage systems. The successful applicant must be enrolled in an engineering or engineering-related discipline at a 4-year college or university. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed design classes in concrete, soils, and other engineering materials. Engineering Technicians will perform field and/or laboratory observations, tests, and inspections on various projects. Communicates with the project managers, contractors, other engineering technicians, client's representative, and other applicable field personnel at the project site.
