The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting and supporting the Project Management team in the completion of jobs.
Essential Functions
Follow M&H project and account management, as well as estimating SOP's
Provide necessary support of all business functions within the division, including Business Development, Account Management, Project Management, Estimating, and Field Operations
Support the Estimating Team and Project Managers with the execution of change orders or estimates as needed
Participate within the Project Management team to ensure all responsibilities are being fulfilled
Manage cost reports, analyze budget variances, and implement strategies to reduce project costs
Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of change orders and coordinate receivables and collections with office administrative management team to ensure timely and accurate monthly job billings

Attend and actively participate in the weekly Operations Meeting
Review schedules, critical project activities, job start-ups, Manpower, etc.

Position Overview
This is a remote position based anywhere in the US.
Vantage is looking for a Principal MechanicalEngineer to be part of the designengineering team, steering innovative design and engineering solution for our data center projects. In this role, as a subject matter expert, you will be focusing on program improvement initiative as well as supporting the deployment of new data center from land acquisition to Operation hand-off. These functions collaborate closely with construction, automation, innovation, and engineering to fully deliver large-scale data centers. As an engineering leader, you will also work closely with other company stakeholders, such as sales, equipment procurement, new site development, and leadership.
You will be presented with complex engineering challenges and will work with teams to bring them to resolution. As a DesignEngineering Intern, you will work closely with the Steel Framing Engineering Team to deliver high-performance cold-formed steel solutions, enhance team capabilities, and contribute to innovative developments. Essential Functions
Provide calculation-based improvements to existing standard engineering details and support the development of new standard engineering details.
Collaborate with the engineering team to support the development of technical reference material and engineeringdesign tools.
Support the enhancement of the truss repair process with the development of repair tracking and typical repair detail catalogue under the guidance and direction of senior staff.
Support special engineering projects, strategic initiatives, and new product R&D initiatives.
Collaborate to engineer cold-formed steel trusses, components, and framing under the guidance and direction of senior staff for project specific applications.
Collaborate with the engineering and software development teams to support software analytical validation, performance assessment and enhancement development.

Position Summary
Summer internships are 40 hours per week, typically lasting from late May to early August. Interns will work in person at our Norwich, KS facility. This position will work within our pattern shop, foundry, and machine shop learning and assisting in all engineering and production support tasks.

Design and produce foundry tooling and finishing work holding components
