Internship Summary
The IT Intern will support NAICA's technology operations, including device setup, troubleshooting, account support, and on-site technical assistance. Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level support for staff across NAICA shelters, housing programs, and administrative offices.
Assist with imaging, configuring, and deploying desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
Support account setup, password resets, and access permissions under supervision.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; escalate as needed.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment across multiple NAICA locations.
Help install software updates and ensure devices meet security and compliance requirements.
Assist with onboarding/offboarding tech tasks, including email setup, ID creation, equipment retrieval, etc.
Log, update, and close helpdesk tickets in NAICA's ticketing system.

The Child Mind Institute is looking for accomplished and motivated individuals to join our team as interns for our Summer Program for children with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional-Defiant Disorder, and related learning, social, and behavioral challenges.
The program is offered as a four-week immersive summer therapy camp session each year. Interns for this program are trained to use empirically supported behavior management techniques to work with children with disruptive behavior concerns, encouraging them to participate in positive and pro-social behavior as they interact with other children and adults.
Reporting to the Director, Summer Program, this is an unpaid, temporary, full-time, internship located on-site at Allen Stevenson School and our NYC headquarters office.
This is a highly competitive unpaid internship. You Will:
Learn and use positive behavior management strategies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Qualifications
We're seeking candidates completing their undergraduate degree by December 2025, or recent graduates. Preferred majors include Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Finance/Business with programming experience. A background or strong interest in business finance is highly valued.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate knowledge of programming concepts and familiarity with one or more languages such as Java, C, or Python. Experience with relational database querying is also preferred. Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in applying technology to solve business challenges are essential.

Qualifications
Required
Hands-on experience building software (courses, personal projects, research, or internships) in one or more languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Rust, Java, C/C++; you write clear, tested code
Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, systems thinking) and familiarity with Git and basic debugging
Ability to make informed trade-offs with business context; high agency and a team-first mindset

Students can post questions, memes, polls, and chat with other verified students while maintaining control over their identity and privacy. Fizz communities prioritize safety, authenticity, and inclusion through community-based moderation.
What we've done
We first launched Fizz at Stanford in July 2021 and have since seen >95% of undergraduates join the app, half of which use Fizz every day. Since raising a $25M Series B in July 2023, we have established ourselves as the dominant community platform at 350+ colleges, have begun to generate revenue through partnerships, and are actively expanding to communities beyond college.
Where we're going
We have three primary goals for 2026: continue our expansion to the entire US college market, drive revenue growth through continuous product iteration, and build product to expand our userbase and become the dominant social platform for all of Gen-Z, not just US college students.
As a Fizz intern, you will be able to use your own experience of being a Fizz user to directly build for a product you care about. We aim to give our engineering interns the same responsibilities and autonomy as full-time engineers, and you'll be responsible for owning large initiatives end-to-end. Interns will work full-time out of our NYC office and receive a housing stipend + financial compensation.
Your Responsibilities
* Imagine, design, deploy, and iterate new product features end-to-end (example projects include building advanced systems that use LLMs to moderate content, architecting a content recommendation system to improve the Fizzin feed, building new product features like campus events or job postings, and much more).
* Write clean, efficient, and scalable code that meets project requirements.
* Design and implement RESTful APIs that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
* Work closely with senior engineers to support ongoing projects and tasks.

The Science Internship is a part-time and seasonal position during the fall and spring school semesters that provide training opportunities for New York City students. Successful interns may reapply for subsequent seasons contingent on job performance and funding. The science intern gains skills and professional development related to botanical research and biodiversity collections and will work with an NYBG mentor on a research, collections, or library project.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Research areas may include but are not limited to plant diversity, museum curation, molecular biology, systematics, taxonomy, morphology, development, and/or bioinformatics.
