    Hermeus is a high-speed aircraft manufacturer focused on the rapid design, build, and test of high-Mach and hypersonic aircraft for the national interest. Working directly with the Department of Defense, Hermeus delivers capabilities that will ensure that our nation, and our allies, maintain an asymmetric advantage over any and all potential adversaries. The Flight Software team is a dynamic group that rapidly supports vehicle testing and development for the hypersonic quarter-horse program. The team is responsible for all software to remotely control the aircraft, command control surfaces, navigate the platform, and solve hard embedded programming issues. Spring: around 12-16 weeks (January - April) Summer: around 10 weeks (May - August) Responsibilities: Assist in the development of onboard flight software Support debugging and resolution of active software issues Contribute to the design and implementation of hardware-in-the-loop test setups Participate in validation and testing of flight hardware Collaborate with the Flight Software team to meet current project needs and milestones Minimum Requirements: Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
