We are hiring RNs with 2+ years of experience in an Intensive Care or Emergency Department. Being a Critical Care Transport RN at PT-1 gives you the opportunity to work one-on-one with your patients providing much needed high-quality care to critical patients in EMS. Job Summary Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and other persons in a position to understand patient care protocol Promote patient awareness by establishing patient care goals, educating the patient and family regarding illness or disease processes, and explaining treatment rendered while in the care of the CCT team Ensure continuity of services while adhering to all laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures as they pertain to the CCT program Complete all appropriate documentation as outlined in company policy Maintain awareness of any and all changes in the system components and company policy Ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments by collaborating with team members, and staying current with CCT guidelines, required in-services, trainings, and staff meetings Other duties as outlined in the complete Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a diploma, Associates degree, Bachelors degree, or higher Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of California Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a critical care environment (ER, ICU) in a large tertiary care facility that provides care to high acuity patients with a wide range of diagnoses Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to communicate and understand English, verbally and written Must have an active California Drivers license and driving record that meets the minimum requirements for the company Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications Other requirements per job description About Our Company ProTransport-1 is the leading provider of patient logistics services to hospital systems in Northern California.     Full-time, Part-time Description Critical Care Transport Nurse: NORCAL Ambulance is Northern California's largest and most respected Critical Care Transport provider, trusted by leading health systems across the region. We are hiring experienced Critical Care Transport Nurses (CCTRNs) to join our Bay Area Division in part-time and per-diem positions. Why NORCAL: At NORCAL, nurses lead the way. Once you're on your own, the support continues with our 24/7 clinical leadership team and peer network, always just a call away. You'll also work alongside CCT-trained EMTs who share your commitment to patient care and bring a strong sense of teamwork, making every shift both collaborative and rewarding. You will have access to advanced equipment that gives you the confidence to manage even the sickest patients. With Tempus Pro monitors, LTV 1200 ventilators, Airvo high-flow nasal cannula, and Sapphire IV pumps, every transport is supported with the right tools. This allows you to safely care for a diverse population, from complex trauma and ICU transfers to pediatric critical care, while knowing you're backed by the best technology and a strong, supportive team.
