The CRNA is responsible for routine maintenance and cleaning of anesthesia equipment. • Conduct comprehensive preoperative evaluations to assess patient medical history, physical condition, and anesthesia risks. • Review laboratory results, imaging studies, and other diagnostic information to determine appropriate anesthesia plans. • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements. • Administer various forms of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia. • Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia depth during procedures. • Manage airway and respiratory support as necessary throughout the surgical process. • Provide care in the post-anesthesia recovery unit, monitoring patients' recovery. • Assess and manage any immediate postoperative complications or side effects related to anesthesia. • Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies. Qualifications Basic Requirements/Certifications: • Current, full, active, and unrestricted CRNA license in any State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia. • BE/BC by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). • Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) preferred. • 3+ years' experience as a CRNA including 18 months within the last year. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). • Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
