About the Role:
The QA Technician role at the Lancaster location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance, quality, and safety throughout the plant.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

What you will do

What you will do
The Senior Automation Support Engineering is responsible for providing support and optimizing automated systems to enhance efficiency and streamline processes for Fort Washington and Lititz Sites in North America. Driving and delivering optimal cost, safety, quality, and compliance for the site manufacturing systems. In close collaboration with the Engineering, Operations, Packaging and site Leadership Team, this position serves as the primary point of contact for end-to-end MAKE Automation Systems from up-front engineering through project delivery as well as ongoing maintenance and Operations support of MAKE at the internal production site. This role will be onsite at Lititz, PA.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive automation support strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives involved with Systems integration, equipment, Automation & Controls Engineering including Information Technology / Operations Technology systems.
Standardizes and leverages solutions across sites.
Leader of support automation engineering team, delivering technical expertise and mentorship for the development and implementation of critical automated solutions and is part of the 24/7 rotation support. Strategically plan and execute site initiatives, ensuring alignment with Automation Global CoE and Consumer Manufacturing Networks, and driving continuous improvement for timely goal realization.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and enhance overall productivity. Evaluate, select, and integrate automation tools and technologies to meet business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Implement robust monitoring systems to ensure the stability and reliability of automated processes, proactively addressing any issues that may arise.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of automated systems, processes, and workflows, facilitating knowledge transfer within the team.
Ensure that automated systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols, actively participating in audits and assessments.
Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.
Works in close collaboration with the process scientist team to develop & implement the technical transfer strategy for the site or network
Ensure timely investigations and corrective / preventative action (CAPA) to address Quality, Safety, Reliability, Technical, and Manufacturing issues (Audit Actions, NC's, etc.)
Implement new applications or controlled changes to existing applications meeting FDA and cGMP, company compliance requirements.
Identification, evaluation, selection, and implementation of third-party systems, equipment, and equipment vendors as well as contract resources; Ensures compliance as needed to global platforms and standards.
What are we looking for
Required Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of a BS in Engineering, Science or Technical Field is required.
Experience:
Minimum Four (4) years of relevant business experience
Minimum of six (3) years people management experience with demonstrated success in performance management and development.
Specific Engineering and / or Maintenance experience within consumer, OTC, or pharmaceutical industry required.
Proven experience in system automation, with a track record of successful implementations.
Strong programming skills, custom automation scripts and solution tailored to specific needs.
In-depth knowledge of automation tools and technologies.
Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Proficient in English language - writing, speaking and understanding.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (Masters) in Engineering or MBA is preferred

$110,500.00 - $156,000.00

Your Role
We are hiring an experienced and adaptable Quality Assurance Specialist to join BioTechnique. The QA Specialist plays a critical role in driving successful completion of operational tasks, performing quality reviews, and providing guidance to various departments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Identify, classify, and report deviations; support remediation and CAPA activities.
Ensure timely closure of investigations and resolution of issues before process release.
Collaborate with cross -functional teams to determine root cause and implement preventative/corrective actions.
Perform technical review of documentation during and post -execution of cGMP activities.
Communicate with clients, vendors, and external services to resolve investigations and ensure compliance.
Participate in inspection readiness activities and regulatory inspections.
Support safety programs and audits.
