    Engrain Technology Inc. 4.1company rating

Quality assurance specialist job in Greenwood Village, CO

Engrain builds map-based tech that's redefining how real estate works. Our interactive, unit-level maps and powerful data integrations help over 1,000 companies-and 20,000 properties-to make smarter decisions, streamline leasing, and deliver better renter experiences. From prospect to renewal, our products give properties a spatial brain and a visual edge when it comes to property marketing and management. And it's working: our churn rate is just 5%, and we've been putting up double-digit growth numbers every year. We're not your typical proptech company. We move fast, we stay curious, and we don't do stale or corporate fluff. Backed by successful Seed and Series A rounds-with a fresh raise on the horizon-we're entering a phase of serious scale. As the Salesforce QA & Systems Intern, you will help build our Quality Assurance (QA) function from the ground up. This is not a "coffee run" internship; you will serve as a pilot member of our QA team, working directly with Systems leadership to expose bugs, streamline processes, and prepare our systems for scale. If you are looking to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), this is the role for you. What you'll do... * Execute testing: Perform manual testing on Salesforce configurations (Flows, validation rules, custom objects) to ensure they meet business requirements before they reach production. * Build the library: Create our foundational library of test cases, documenting steps to reproduce errors, expected results, and actual results to ensure long-term system health. * Bug hunting: Log and track defects in our project management tool (e.g., Jira/Asana), collaborating with the operations team to verify fixes and close loops. * Process documentation: Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user guides for new features, ensuring our technical documentation is accurate and easy to understand. * Data analysis: Utilize Excel/Google Sheets to track testing progress and identify trends regarding where our system breaks most often to drive future improvements. Requirements What you offer us... * Education: Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Tech, Economics) or demonstrating a strong interest in technical systems and operations. * Salesforce knowledge: An active interest in the Salesforce ecosystem. Ideally, you have completed 50+ Badges on Trailhead or are working toward your Salesforce Associate or Administrator certification. * Understanding of SDLC: You understand the basics of how software is built and why testing (UAT, Regression) is critical to business success. * Analytical mindset: You enjoy logic puzzles and "breaking" things. You don't just see that something failed; you want to know why and how. * Detail-oriented: You notice when data formatting is inconsistent or when a user flow doesn't make logical sense. * Location: Available to be on-site ~60% of the time. What we offer you... * Salary Disclosure for Colorado: The anticipated hourly amount for this position is $20 - $22, with final compensation dependent on a variety of factors like experience, certifications and skill set. * Dog-friendly office * On-site amenities include a professional fitness center, flexible & modern workspace, coffee bar, happy hour taps & team member lounge All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, marital status, pregnancy, genetic information, or any other legally protected status. This probationary period is an extension of the appointment process and therefore requires the agency to determine if continued employment would advance the public interest, meet the organization goals and mission of the agency, and/or otherwise promote the efficiency of the service. In determining if your employment advances the public interest, the agency will consider: * your performance and conduct; * the needs and interests of the agency; * whether your continued employment would advance organizational goals of the agency or the Government; and * whether your continued employment would advance the efficiency of the Federal service. Under applicable law, the employment of an individual serving a probationary or trial period automatically terminates when that period ends unless the agency affirmatively certifies, in writing, that the individual's employment should continue and that their appointment should be finalized. In the absence of agency action to affirmatively certify continued employment beyond the probationary or trial period, such appointments are terminated. Upon completion of your probationary period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
