Located in Daleville, AL, GDIT owns and operates the facilities that provides flight simulator training. GDIT has an immediate opening for a Test Director to support the FSTSS project in Daleville, AL. This position requires experience managing tests of complex systems. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, mission driven, and able to own and manage all aspects of testing for the assigned platform. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT * Manage all aspects of test planning and execution for major rotary-wing aviation simulation projects. * Create test plans and procedures that satisfy requirements traceability and successfully validate and demonstrate system performance. * Coordinate with customer and subcontractor test team members to schedule and deconflict resources required for test. * Support project managers with test activities to accomplish project objectives. * Provide daily reports during test to inform leadership of status and progress. * Partner with applicable technology teams to determine testing parameters. * Write test plans and create test cases for the product. * Conduct quality assurance and design performance tests using established testing procedures. * Partner with other department engineers and developers in creating practical test demonstrations for proposed technology. * Troubleshooting any testing errors and streamline testing procedures. * Ensures that testing methodology and procedures meet company and industry standards. * Learn and execute automated tests. * Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology and best practices relevant to the industry.
