This position will manage and implement quality and food safety systems at the manufacturing site to meet or exceed customer, regulatory and company requirements. This leader is responsible for assuring released product is safe for its intended use and that quality attributes are clearly monitored, reviewed and deemed acceptable. The QA Manager will support all safety programs, policies and procedures, and have a personal value system that will assist in creating a work environment that is based on trust, human dignity, and honesty. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage all quality and lab functions at the site, including sampling, testing, product dispositions and related technical services. Coordinate and maintain site Food Safety Plans to meet FSMA (21 CFR 507) and food safety code standards, including management of required documentation, verifications and validations as it relates to preventive controls and pre-requisite programs. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and product identity site requirements, including those required for USDA-APHIS certifications for export, Organic certifications and other programs as identified. Serve as HACCP/HARPC/Food Safety Team Coordinator, PCQI and SQF Practitioner for the site. Work closely with site management team to drive adherence to food safety systems and programs. Lead initiatives as assigned, to include support of change management and continuous improvement. Manage, support and/or influence policies and procedures to comply with quality and food safety requirements. Implement and provide training on new procedures as needed. Promote culture of audit-readiness at all times. Implement/manage internal audit and CAPA systems to allow for easy tracking and close-out of site corrective and preventative measures. Execute root cause analysis for non-conformances, including product quality, food safety or customer issues. Support production facility management team in responding to customer corrective actions. Interpret requirements and monitor activities to identify when further investigation may be needed. Communicate effectively with internal customers (human resources, maintenance, shipping / receiving, purchasing, customer service, production, etc.) and external customers. Be a key leader for facility audits, including customer, third-party and/or regulatory inspections. Recognize business risks associated with quality and food safety deviations; respond and communicate effectively and expediently according to identified risk. Review and recommend changes to processes or equipment in areas of ownership to continuously improve quality assurance functions and services. Management of site quality budget. Support the Poultry Platform Director of Quality on specific or assigned projects. Cross-train on quality programs and initiatives within 3D Poultry as needed. Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and overnight as required. Other tasks as assigned. BACKUP PERSONNEL: The site backup PCQI will provide coverage for this position, with support from Platform and Corporate Quality, when the Quality Assurance Manager is absent or when the position is vacant. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will have multiple direct reports at the site. TRAVEL: This position requires occasional travel to company and supply facilities, including some overnight travel. More extensive travel should be expected during the first three months of hire. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university preferred. Degree considerations: Food Science, Agriculture, Animal Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc. Five or more years of experience within quality and/or food safety in food or pet food manufacturing with demonstrable quality management experience. Description: The Fuel Quality Technician is responsible for completing fuel quality testing on site (gas stations, convenience stores, facilities that use gasoline or diesel for power) troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems, and performing unscheduled maintenance as well as scheduled maintenance on equipment, based upon customer demand and need. Guardian technicians are always expected to provide complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner. Previous petroleum service experience is NOT required. Other industries that will be considered include vacuum truck technicians, septic truck technicians, environmental technicians. A proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on your own is the most important aspect of this job. Essential Job Functions: The primary responsibilities of the FuelGuard Service Technician will include (but are not limited to): Operate and maintain mobile Fuel Filtration equipment (company truck with trailer attached). Ability to pull 2" hoses full of fluid in lengths of varying from 16' to 50', drop them down 16' or more in a tank and move them around to sweep the bottom of the tank. Thorough knowledge of all CNC machining principles' including but not limited to: G code programming from drawing, CAD/CAM, work holding, tool optimization, machine capacity optimization and changeover procedure development and optimization. Preferred experience with Mazak Variaxis Machines (Vertical mill with turning capabilities), Mazak Integrex (Mill turn machine) and Mazatrol Control experience. The Fuel Quality Technician is responsible for completing fuel quality testing on site (gas stations, convenience stores, facilities that use gasoline or diesel for power) troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems, and performing unscheduled maintenance as well as scheduled maintenance on equipment, based upon customer demand and need. Job Duties: Develop and maintain quality documentation for new product introduction, including: Incoming inspection plans First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation Audit and inspection plans Support prototype builds by fully understanding product design and manufacturing processes from incoming material through final assembly Identify critical vs. non-critical characteristics and define appropriate inspection methods Assist with PFMEA/FMEA development and participate in PDAT processes Perform incoming material inspections and first article inspections using basic measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) Document production steps and support training of production teams to ensure consistent execution Support production quality issues by updating documentation and inspection plans as needed once production begins Collaborate closely with Quality Engineers and other Quality Technicians to align quality processes Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in a quality or inspection role focusing on documentation development Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand tolerances Experience using basic inspection and measurement tools Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear, accurate documentation Comfortable working within computerized quality and production systems Manufacturing background strongly preferred Preferred Qualifications: Experience reading electrical schematics Experience supporting new product launches or prototype builds Familiarity with FMEA, root cause analysis tools, and blueprint quality symbols Technical school or engineering technology coursework preferred; Degree not required Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.

Learn about SKF at ************ Position Summary: Performs engineering work varied in nature and complexity encompassing planning, evaluating, designing, developing and adapting tools, machines, and new technologies for the purpose of producing new products, increasing productivity on existing products, enhancing quality and reducing manufacturing costs (i.e., the optimum use of workers, machines, materials and facilities). Works closely with other engineers, maintenance, logistics, manufacturing and quality to achieve optimum manufacturing objectives. Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): * Makes mathematical/mechanical computations and independent analyses applying scientific and engineering principles, practices and appropriate analytical tools as required. * Develops capital plan and initiates appropriation requests (PAR's) for major projects. Establishes systems for control of project progress, time schedules and costs. In conjunction with Accounting, prepares PAR post completion audits. * Establishes engineering and equipment standards for efficient application of resources and maintains records and files. * Directly responsible for the engineering and related functions of his/her assigned manufacturing operation(s) including: * The setup and maintenance of labor standards * Development of the manufacturing process for new products and maintaining process documentation including manufacturing drawings, tooling, fixtures, BOM, process routings, SPI's, etc. * Methods, processes and procedures analysis and work simplification techniques * Designing and subcontracting of tools, fixtures and gauging * Controlling NC/CNC functions, including setup sheets, DNC systems and all other interacting projects as well as the training of operators and others * Analyzing and processing engineering change requests * Plant, machinery, equipment, assembly layouts * Troubleshooting technically challenging problems (machinery, equipment, processes) * Analyzing for improvement to labor, manufacturing costs, variances and margins * Initiates cost reduction proposals and investigates proposals from other sources. Compiles appropriate information, makes recommendations for action, implements (if appropriate) and checks on results obtained. * Directs / oversees cost reduction and product / process improvement projects as assigned. * Renders technical service to all other departments as required. * Lead or participate in development of Corrective Actions to address internal or externally identified problems. * Manages / performs other duties and projects as assigned. Minimum Education/Experience: * Minimally a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related degree plus 2 - 4 years of relevant experience. A minimum education requirement of a Technical Associate Degree/Apprenticeship Graduate plus at least 5 - 8 years of directly relatable or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree. * Demonstrated problem solving required * Demonstrated ability to apply proper analytical and/or Lean tools in completion of their assignments * Metal working experience preferred (drilling, turning, taping, grinding & selecting associated tools) * CNC programming preferred * Manufacturing experience preferred (taking raw material and making finished product) * Assembly experience preferred * Face to Face customer experience preferred * CAD/CAM, SolidWorks experience preferred. * Knowledge of XA, SAP or other ERP system preferred. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required. * Experience in leading Capex projects preferred.
