Affect processes when needed. 3 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 3.1 Participate in and/or coordinate internal APQP activities, including development of schedules and status reports. 3.2 Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, and Purchasing to provide all documents and tests per DAC and Customer requirements. 3.3 Coordinate check fixture and gage development with DAC Suppliers. 3.4 Provide supplier support as needed. 3.5 Coordinate Supplier PPAP Submissions per DAC and Customer requirements and maintain status reports per DAC Supplier Management Manual. 3.6 Maintain supplier PPAP Submission files. 3.7 Alert management of any schedule concerns. 3.8 Assure the PPAP Approvals, or Interim Approvals, are communicated per applicable procedures to all affected departments. 3.9 Provide requested information to Quality Engineers regarding PPAP. 3.10 Participate in MRB meetings as assigned per DAC procedures. 3.11 Assist in maintenance of receiving Inspection sampling plans based on part histories. 3.12 Assist Receiving Inspection in QPR issuance, Supplier contact, and follow up. 3.13 Coordinate in processing of QPR's internally, including any sorting, rework, returns, and applicable chargebacks to suppliers. 3.14 Monitor and follow up Supplier corrective actions, including Supplier visits. 3.15 Maintain Supplier history reports per DAC QOS and Supplier Management Manual. 3.16 Assist in coordination of DAC Corrective Action System (CAS). 3.17 Participate in and/or coordinate C/A activities as assigned. 3.18 Provide quality support as in regards to Supplier Quality issues. 3.19 Communicate supplier quality concerns to applicable departments. 3.20 Maintenance of receiving inspection instructions per Control Plan requirements and applicable DAC procedures. 3.21 Process potential and capability studies as needed. 3.22 Monthly activity reports. 3.23 Other duties as assigned. 4 MEASUREMENTS/COMPETENCIES 4.1 Accomplishment of set goals, including documentation, organization, and timeliness. 4.2 Performance in areas of responsibility (including internal audit performance). 4.3 Problem solving accomplishments. 4.4 Effectiveness of supplier support. 5 SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY This position has no supervisor responsibilities. Requirements 6 WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional environment, as well as a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. This role also is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. 7 QUALIFICATIONS 7.1 High School Diploma or equivalent. 7.2 CQE, CQA, or 4 year degree (or willingness to obtain within one year). 7.3 Minimum 2 years automotive experience. 7.4 Familiar with IATF 16949 Quality System requirements. 7.5 Experienced in problem solving and reporting (i.e., 8-D, PR/R, QR, etc.). 7.6 Computer literate. 7.7 Experience in blueprint reading and GD&T 7.8 Experience in Internal or External System Auditing 7.9 Metrology (CMM, gage calibration, measuring systems, etc.) 7.10 Experience in advanced quality planning 7.11 Good communication skills, both oral and written. 7.12 Team player. 7.13 Self-motivated. 7.14 Willing to travel. 8 PHYSICAL DEMANDS 8.1 Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 8.2 Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times. 8.3 Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. 9 POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.
