Job Summary: As a Quality Control Field Technician at IEF, you will be accountable for supporting the Quality Department in Calverton and across all project sites. This role will include Job site quality control inspections, Job site and laboratory Testing, leak investigations and trouble shooting. Accountabilities: Review and coordinate testing procedures to confirm compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and approved protocols. Work closely with Project Managers, design teams, and third-party testing facilities to plan, execute, and document required testing. Review Performance Mock-Up (PMU) drawings and provide quality oversight during shop fabrication, field installation, and testing activities. Participate in PMU testing and deliver post-testing (“post-mortem”) feedback and lessons learned to project and design teams. Create, maintain, organize, and archive all quality-related documentation, including quality control inspection reports, leak investigation reports, laboratory testing reports, and fabrication, installation, and testing review documentation. Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and readily accessible to project teams. Review shop drawing details and conduct field leak investigations on active and completed projects to identify root causes of water infiltration or performance issues. Collaborate with project, design, and field teams to develop and implement effective remediation strategies. Perform jobsite visits at project start-up and on a periodic basis to verify that critical quality and performance-related detailing is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and installation procedures. Generate detailed inspection reports following each site visit. Support design teams by providing practical, field-based input on critical system detailing, drawing reviews, and constructability considerations based on real-world installation and testing experience. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in installation or testing in the facade/curtainwall fabrication, manufacturing, or construction field. Ability and flexibility to travel is necessary. *Travel will be largely New England or NY/NY based. Knowledge of facade systems, performance, detailing and testing. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. The Loan Servicing Quality Control Specialist will assist in creating and maintaining QC requirements related to loan operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Performs reviews related to reports and/or loans in accordance with the department's procedures to ensure customer and bank expectations are met. Maintains existing procedures/processes and coordinates implementation of new procedures/processes to ensure the Bank is in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, as needed. Updates and maintains quality control log, note inventory log, and PIF log. Performs quality control reviews on all new loan files to include core system and documentation. Performs quality control activities on closed and denied/withdrawn loans as defined in policies and procedures. Reviews quality control departmental reports for maintenance activities, accuracy and completion. Follows up for any post-closing documentation items and escalates any time delays or issues related to quality control to appropriate management team to ensure items are resolved timely and accurately. The Maintenance and Quality Control Technician will be accountable for the general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and be responsible for the quality of produced parts. This position is full time, on site in Chester, CT 3:30pm through 12:00am. There may be occasional overtime as required by business needs. Essential Functions: All aspects of maintenance of the assembly lines and quality control. Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. Perform advanced troubleshooting to determine necessary repairs. Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Perform PM (preventative maintenance) on all assembly equipment. Basic milling and lathe work. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Basic tool repair (grinding, polishing, etc.). Knowledge of general carpentry and repair. Use a pallet jack/forklift. Read and understand engineering drawings (dimensioning and tolerancing). Perform tests according to company quality standards; report results to supervisor for analysis and action steps. Consult with supervisor to determine appropriate recommendations and remedies for questionable products. Perform critical dimension checks on incoming products and raw materials. Use calipers, metric tape, and other measuring devices to determine fine color distinctions. Perform visual quality inspection of incoming finished products. Perform first-piece inspections and checks as noted on production sheets. Create NMRs and control rejected material. Provide support to receiving by identifying material as needed. Computer data entry using SAP system. General housekeeping. Observe all safety requirements. Must wear safety equipment as required.
