Bill Richter is President & CEO of Qumulo, where he brings over 20 years of leadership experience to his role. Prior to Qumulo, Bill was a Venture Partner at Madrona, where he invested in and advised emerging businesses across multiple categories. Before joining Madrona, Bill was President of the Isilon Storage Division of EMC, where he grew the business to $1.5 billion in annual revenue in 2014. After Isilon, Bill served as COO of EMC’s $4 billion Midrange Storage business. Bill holds a BA in Business Administration from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.

Neal Fachan brings 15 years of systems software experience to Qumulo. At Amazon Web Services,Neal designed and led development of advanced database technologies. Prior to Amazon, Neal was Distinguished Engineer at Isilon, where he provided technical vision for Isilon's award-winning OneFS clustered file system, resulting in more than thirty patented technologies. Prior to Isilon, Neal worked in the Third Market group at D. E. Shaw. Neal holds a degree in Math and Computer Science from UNM.

Matthew Frey, President and CEO, has more than 17 years of experience building successful businesses that advance legacy markets through disruptive technology innovation. Prior to Optimum Energy, Frey was President and COO of World WidePackets, and oversaw the global deployment of its products and the sale of the company to Ciena Corporation. Frey started his career at Price Waterhouse in Silicon Valley, and also served as Vice President of Finance and Technology for Data Base, Inc. He has a strong track record assisting startup companies in the development and implementation of strategic plans and raising venture capital. Frey received his bachelors degree in commerce and accounting from Santa Clara University, and he serves on the board of several charities, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Craig Bumpus is a sales professional with more than 20 years of experience in sales strategy, channel development, OEM distribution, and development of direct and indirect global sales teams for start-ups and large enterprises in the security and data protection industries. As CEO and Founder of DPC Inc., Craig has built the fastest growing value added reseller for EMC, RSA and Sophos in the New England region, growing the business to more than $17M within its first year. DPC has already accepted 2 VAR awards from manufacturers highlighting business excellence. Prior to founding DPC, Craig was VP of Enterprise Sales at Sophos, an enterprise security software company, which acquired Utimaco, where Craig was COO and General Manager. Throughout his time at Sophos and Utimaco, Craig achieved company revenue of 68% and 83%, respectively. At Utimaco, Craig secured relationships with large OEMs, such as Lenovo and IBM, leading to significant revenue growth. At Cisco Systems, Craig played an integral role in the Andiamo, Inc. acquisition and was subsequently responsible for building that division, including defining the sales and go-to-market strategy and signing multiple OEMS, including but not limited to, STK, Sun Microsystems, Hitachi Data Systems, IBM, EMC, HP and Dell. Previous to that, Craig was a Divisional Vice President at EMC where he had multiple responsibilities including direct enterprise sales with revenue targets exceeding $1 billion, as well as growing new divisions – among which was a 100% channel-focused small and medium commercial business division. He also started EMC inside sales, telemarketing, and training programs in 2002. Craig had more than a decade’s tenure in various sales management roles at EMC. Craig holds degrees in International Business, Management and Marketing from the University of Rhode Island and is a guest professor at Babson College.

Adriana Gil Miner has more than 20 years of marketing experience with a focus on bringing new products to market and driving rapid growth. She is responsible for Qumulo’s demand generation, field marketing and corporate events, online and digital presence, press and analyst relations, and defining the company’s positioning and brand. She joins Qumulo from Tableau where she served as a key marketing executive that helped establish the company as the leading analytics platform in the world growing from $250M to over $1B in revenue. Prior to Tableau, Adriana was the CMO for Artefact, where she established the company as one of top design firms in the industry and helped create and launch an award-winning startup called 10,000ft (acquired by Smartsheet in 2019.)

Adriana studied Mass Communication in her native Venezuela and obtained a master’s degree in Digital Communication at the University of Washington.
