This individual will play a critical role in patient care by producing high-quality diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. X-Ray Tech Summary of Job Duties: Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explain processes, and address concerns. Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures, adjusting equipment to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Follow radiation safety protocols and use protective devices to ensure safety. Maintain and ensure imaging equipment functions correctly, reporting any issues. Maintain accurate patient records and input data into the EHR system. Implement quality control measures to ensure reliable diagnostic images. Stay updated on radiologic technology advancements and participate in ongoing education. Ensure adherence to CA DPH regulations and hospital policies, maintaining licensures and training.
