Your new role
As our new Commissioning Engineer, you will join a global company that has been growing successfully since its founding in 1945. As our new Commissioning Engineer you will be part of our Advanced Manufacturing Department, consisting of many process engineers, project and construction managers, involved in the design, construction, start-up, commissioning, and testing of process and building systems / equipment.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Read, process and understand complex project design, specification and submittal documents.
* Preparation and execution of commissioning documents using both cloud based commissioning software and traditional word processing software for the coordination of commission activities and issues identification, tracking, and resolution support.
* Lead commissioning execution at client sites and Ramboll advanced manufacturing facilities.
* Provide engineering and technical support to projects; to include writing reports, conducting audits, troubleshooting, performing tests to ensure client specifications are met.
* Maintain client relationships by presenting a professional and competent demeanor; ensure clients best interests are kept at the forefront.
* Travel to/from client sites to ensure adherence to schedule, scope, and budget.
* Properly record and document information needed for client acceptance and historical reference.
* Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate on equipment.

Salary Transparency
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The responsibilities of the ACx Commissioning Engineer (CxE) include, but are not limited to, oversight and coordination of multi-discipline division of work related to design review and commissioning of Amazon critical infrastructure for new construction and special projects. The CxE is responsible for supporting vendors, contractors, and other teams involved in the construction and commissioning of various systems including medium and low voltage power systems, Generators, UPS, HVAC, Chilled Water, BMS, and EPMS systems. They shall provide multi-discipline input into the scheduling, test script development, designing, and planning of projects. In addition, the CxE will be required to develop and review electrical and mechanical component and integrated systems testing along with other commissioning documents to ensure they are compliant with the basis of design, specification, industry standards and sequence of operations. It is the CxE responsibility to ensure that all commissioning procedures follow the appropriate safety practices and policies. CxE is responsible for auditing commissioning activities continuously to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements. The CxE proactively communicates with the ACx Regional Manager and the ACx team to ensure that the applicable test documents are created and executed in accordance with all commissioning requirements. This individual will be responsible for comprehensive weekly reporting of status of all ongoing projects, lessons learned, and program improvements to continually improve the quality of our program. This position will include coverage of multiple inflight projects and tight schedules.

Executes engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures in accordance with our Project Management Office (PMO) methodology to ensure profitable and successful execution of professional services engagements as measured by financial goals and customer satisfaction

Performs reconciliations, which may not be limited to, inventory and invoicing
Extensive experience leading (not a support role) large complex projects with multiple workstreams.

Qualifications:
Strong customer-facing services experience that includes issue resolution and escalation management at both the business owner and executive levels
