RTX People Services organization is seeking a benefit operations professional to support and partner with the Total Rewards Community of Expertise (COE) on RTX benefit programs, policies, and processes.
What You Will Do
Manage bereavement-related cases within the case management system, maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.
Partner with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex bereavement-related issues and prevent delays in payouts or benefits continuation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee bereavement cases, providing sensitive guidance to families, managers, and HR stakeholders.
Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and benefits vendor to ensure seamless processing of final pay, survivor payments, and post-death benefits administration.
Identify opportunities to improve bereavement processes, documentation, and communications to enhance the overall employee and family experience.
Provide superior customer service, with accurate and timely resolution, to internal and external customers.
Ability to collaborate across the HR operating model and bring forward new ideas for future program offerings, for process improvement, or for policy changes needed to improve employee experience.
Drives process improvement by refining processes and procedures to align across business units, Corporate, and Total Rewards COE's.

Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of general accounting tasks for Colibrium Additive's business operations based in USA and Germany. These include operational accounting, general ledger management, Balance sheet reviews, among others. The successful candidate will also be responsible leading an effective and efficient revenue recognition process on machine and services sales and will play a significant role in the effectiveness of the Colibrium Additive's monthly and quarterly close process. They will be responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis for assigned areas of responsibility.
This role can be based in USA, Germany or Sweden and so the successful candidate will need to work within teams and cross functionally across different time zones.

Essential Responsibilities
* Responsible for Colibrium Additive's general accounting processes and close including:
* Own the monthly financial close process (post Journals, review TBs, prepare/review reconciliations) and leadership reporting
* Inventory, including participation in resolution of CAS Schedule II finding
* Revenue recognition application for machine sales, services, powder and Addworks
* Reserves related to inventory and purchase price accounting
* Other general accounting processes as deemed necessary
* Balance sheet analytical reviews for areas of assigned responsibility
* Preparation of account reconciliations for assigned responsibility
* Ensure proper accounting for sales within GE through coordination with contacts within Colibrium Additive, GE Aerospace, and other GE businesses
* Responsible for preparation of key disclosure to GE Corporate regarding Colibrium Additive internal sales
* Own and maintain relationships with key contacts in business operations including Supply Chain, Engineering and Product Management
* Identify and facilitate simplification opportunities to improve the efficiency of closing processes, eliminate manual effort and maximize automation of accounting processes
* Understand, interpret, and develop (as needed) applicable Enterprise Standards, Standard Operating Procedures and Process Maps for assigned areas of accounting

Qualifications/Requirements
