This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve and enhance quality and delivery goals. Serving as a key point of contact for supplier quality matters, the position also focuses on developing and improving processes to ensure compliance with Collins Aerospace Quality Standards. Functional responsibilities may include Quality Assurance, Quality System Validation, Supply Chain Quality Assurance, and Material Verification. What You Will Do: Performs preliminary review and Material Review Board analysis of First Article Inspection Reports and disposition of nonconforming material. Evaluates Collins Aerospace or supplier products and processes. Analyzes root causes of deficiencies and ensures proper corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner. Provides support to manufacturing operations in the review of products and of engineering and manufacturing processes. Maintains a working relationship with key customer procurement organizations to the benefit of the customer and Collins Aerospace. Maintains quality data records, compiles information, and prepares reports for internal and external customers. Works under moderate supervision to assist with the development and implementation of program quality plans and procedures 25-30% travel, as required Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience Experience in a quality organization Qualifications We Prefer: Read and Interpretation of engineering drawings (Dimension, tolerance, and basic GD&T Symbology). The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
