We have 22 retail operations in Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas, with packaged gas production capabilities in Shreveport, LA, Geismar, LA, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and Houston, TX. We are looking for a dynamic, safety conscious Route Driver to join our team! A route driver at Red Ball Oxygen delivers welding equipment, materials, and supplies to metal fabrication facilities and other industrial establishments, utilizing knowledge of tool-and-die making, welding techniques, and metalworking processes. They must perform all tasks to the best safety quality and do all jobs safely with the correct PPE. Must have a current CDL driver's license with hazardous material endorsement, must have a safe driving record, and must be able to pass a DOT physical exam. Empties customer's Grease Trap utilizing a company vehicle by pumping trap contents into attached Tank. Ensures cleanliness of trap area; cleans all spilled grease if necessary. Fat and Bone removal routes collect and inspect raw material(s) at time of pick up for any foreign or hazardous material at customer location's (local routes, some overnight). Required to maintain an electronic DOT log, paper log only if electronic log book is inoperable. Provides customer with receipt of pick-up and obtains signature of management at location. Responsible for company vehicle; maintains vehicle in cleanest possible manner; operates vehicle in accordance with company, federal, state, and local regulations.
