Responsibilities:

Job Summary
We are seeking a Dietitian (Full Time) to join our Nutrition Team.
Responsibilities:
• Provides nutrition education & training support for the campus community including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, one-on-one counseling, etc.
• Implements wellness programming
• Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers
• Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates
• Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis
• Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging
• Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts - partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces
• Operational execution and oversight - hands-on work in dining spaces to serve guests, train associates, audit systems, collaborate with unit leadership, and ensure excellence in operations and culinary services
• Partner with various campus offices, departments, and organizations to ensure alignment with university goals and needs
Qualifications:
• Credentialed as a RegisteredDietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or RD Eligible
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable
• Ability to present information in one-on-one as well group format
• Experience working with special diets and food allergies
• ServSafe Manager Certification a plus
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs

• Assist in planning regular and special diet menus as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Assist in developing diet plans for individual residents.
• Review therapeutic and regular diet plans and menus to assure they are in compliance with the
physician's orders.
• Meet with administration, medical and nursing staff, & other departments in planning food service
programs and activities.
• Ensure that dietary service work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Ensure that all food storage rooms, preparation areas, etc., are maintained in a clean, safe, and
sanitary manner.
• Recommend to the Dietitian and/or Administrator the equipment and supply needs of the
department.
• Place orders for equipment and supplies as necessary or as may be required.
• Ensure that stock levels of staple/non-staple food, supplies, equipment, etc., are maintained at
adequate levels at all times.
• Assist in interviewing food supply vendors, as may be required.
• Assist in the purchasing of food service supplies, equipment, etc., as required.
• Develop a written dietary plan of care that identifies the dietary problems/needs of the resident
and goals to be accomplished.
• Develop and maintain a good rapport with others involved with the care plan to ensure that a
team effort is achieved.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher granted by a regionally accredited college or university with
completion of the academic requirements of a program in nutrition or dietetics
• Must be registered as a Dietitian in this state.
• Must have, as a minimum, 2 year(s) experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other
related medical facility.
• Must have training in cost control, food management, ant diet therapy
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

* Partner with inpatient care teams to optimize nutrition of patients with CF during hospitalizations
* Follow-up telephone or video encounters to monitor progress as deemed appropriate
* Recommendations for nutritional supplements including gastrostomy tube feedings in partnership with physicians and nurse practitioners
* Participate in center, local community and national events/resources including:
* Attend the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference, an international conference held every fall where there are RD-specific educational topics and opportunities to collaborate and network with other CF care center RDs
* Join the CF Foundation RD listserv to stay up to date on CF-specific conversations and concerns related to nutrition
* Contribute to our monthly center newsletter, develop patient and caregiver nutritional education materials, and support/plan/attend CF family center education events
* Contribute to on-going quality-improvement projects
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
* RegisteredDietitian as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
* Prior clinical experience in either acute care or outpatient setting
* Maintenance of continuing education requirements for dietetic registration.
