Consistently contributes to a multidisciplinary, collaborative effort to ensure positive patient outcomes. The Clinical Dietitian works with the food service management and staff to coordinate delivery of the prescribed diet and meet the nutritional needs of the patient. Responsible to practice within their scope of licensure in accordance with approved policies, procedures and protocols. Initiates / provides Medical Nutrition Therapy based upon Licensed Dietitian Ordering Privileges. Collaborates with and communicates effectively with physicians and members of the multi-disciplinary team to integrate information which refines and contributes to the overall medical care of the patient, with specific emphasis on nutritional care, through routine rounds. Timely and Accurately completes weekly productivity report. Educates Medical Residents, Nursing and Nutrition Staff. Participates in Food Service Quality Initiatives (Test Trays, Meal Rounds, GEMBA Meetings, reports concern to FSD and or CNM, maintains open communication with Clinical Nutrition Manager. Guide Projects Using Acceptable Standards And ITIL Framework Safety And Performance Improvement Behaves in a mindful manner focused on self, patient, visitor, and team safety.
