Purpose:
Performs mobile pre-delivery inspections and on-site equipment diagnostics, service, repair, and maintenance work in line with the service programs. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager or Location Manager.
Responsibilities:
o Performs on-site service on all makes of Turf and small Agricultural equipment.
o Actively promotes and sells dealership specific mobile service programs directly to customers
o Coordinates with Service Manager or Location Manager to establish and implement effective processes for all Turf and small Agricultural services offered through dealership specific service programs
o Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair or other service concerns directly with the customer and documents on work order
o Establishes and implements effective stocking processes with the Parts department to maintain the proper seasonal parts inventory in the vehicle
o Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
o Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
o Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, trailer, inventory, tools and equipment
o Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
o Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
o Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
o Responsible for other duties as assigned by your manager

Proficient with electricians tools and test equipment (including multi meters, meggers)
Familiarity with the Basics of Fluid Control (such as pumps)

Experience with 3-phase power up to 480 volts
Able to handle chemicals, paints, solvents and exposure to environmental allergens.
Essential Duties:
Supports the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety
Familiar with NEC codes and the codebook.

Ability to pass a HAZMAT physical
PLC experience a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Prepares requisitions for materials/parts required to complete work orders.
Creates work orders, closes them when complete, and accounts for time spent on tasks in our computerized Maintenance Management System.
Complies with all safety & GMP regulations.
Follows all company rules, policies and procedures.
Maintains membership and training in the company emergency response team as outlined by OSHA, 29 CFR 1910.120 (HAZMAT)
Must be forklift certified or obtain the qualification within the probationary period.
Availability to work a variable schedule on occasion to cover other team member time off.

About the Position:
Medical Equipment Maintenance & Repair:
Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on durable medical equipment per manufacturer specifications.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electronic malfunctions to ensure optimal functionality.
Approve repair orders, develop quotes, and ensure billing is completed for all maintenance performed.
Maintain and update preventive maintenance schedules and logs for company-owned and contracted facilities.
Track and manage repair parts, providing status updates in coordination with purchasing.
Oversee and document equipment maintenance using E-Maintenance systems.
Organize and maintain storerooms at serviced facilities and ensure cleanliness of delivery equipment (totes, dollies, etc.).
Assist with inventory management, including counting and ordering supplies.
Educate patients on the safe and effective use of home medical equipment.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient records for care and billing purposes.
Deliveries & Customer Support:
Provide backup support with medical equipment deliveries, setup, and patient instructions as needed.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
Compliance & Safety:
Follow all company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications for Success:

3-5 years' experience as a medical equipment repair/maintenance technician, electronics technician, or related.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, safety guidelines, and maintenance procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with limited standardization.

Experience with word processing, web-based mapping, and delivery tracking software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
