Essential Duties:
Engagement and Education:
Proactively address client inquiries and resolve issues with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
Based on their needs, advise and educate clients on available products and services, enhancing their overall experience. Serve as a consultative partner, effectively communicating the company's products, services, retention agreements, policies, processes, and procedures.
Case and Workflow Management:
Effectively manage and coordinate a demanding workload of active cases, which include scheduling, tracking receipt of records and supporting documents, meeting deadlines, travel coordination, and expert calendar maintenance.
Provide complex back-office support to physicians and non-physician experts.
Maintain consistent communication with clients through email and phone, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Collaborate with the Accounting department to align on customer billing, and invoicing specifics.
Assist in the company's Accounts Receivable function by forming meaningful relationships that will enable our clients to stay current on their financial obligations.
Operations and Continuous Improvement:
Intake new cases with a focus on customer-centric service.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Oversee and manage compliance with the operations calendar, ensuring it aligns with client and production deadlines, depositions, trials, and experts' schedules.
Distribute products according to company policy and provide support for other duties as needed.
Accounts Receivable Duties:
Monitor and manage assigned client accounts to ensure prompt and timely receipt of payments by established PLCP deadlines.
Phone call and e-mail follow-up with clients regarding aging AR accounts 30/60/90 days past due, retainer payments, final payments, and payments for services.
Manage bi-weekly reporting to accounting to verify all aging accounts and tower collection performance.
Retrieve all invoices requested by clients to be resent for payment.
Create ledgers of client pending account invoices for payment.
Work with the Accounting Department to arrange any specialized client payment arrangements.
Escalate all aging AR accounts from the past 90 days to the Sales Department, where three complete interactions have taken place. Complete interactions to be defined as attempts where we have established contact with a client.
Requisite Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience, including at least one year in a professional office setting.
Proven expertise in telephone and email communication, coupled with a strong talent for establishing rapport with clients effectively.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and experience in team-based and independent work environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced skills.
The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
Non-requisite/Preferred Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and relevant experience
Work Schedule
5 day/40-hour work week: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Overtime may be required and will be based on business needs.

Specific Program Descriptions
ABH Complex Care: Complex Care focuses on tailoring services to individuals that would benefit from a multidisciplinary, team-based approach. Our teams (AOT, ACT, FACT, and POWER) strive to build community connections and tackle stigma associated with severe mental illness. As a result, our teams work closely with consumers in a community-based approach, overcoming the barriers of multiple hospitalizations and treatment non-adherence. Complex Care team members are provided with the tools/skills necessary to advocate, assist, and motivate consumers to take part in their recovery. Complex Care Licensed Clinicians provide trauma informed therapeutic services utilizing evidenced based practices to empower individuals. Together, we work to integrate individuals back in the community, instill hope in recovery, and provide the additional support for mental health needs.
MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
* Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited university
* Complete the Qualified Mental Health Professional Community Services (QMHP-CS) within six (6) weeks of hire or transfer.
Licenses or Certifications
* Must have and maintain current license in good standing in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and/or Licensed Psychologist (LPHD)
* Must be able to be credentialed and enrolled with CHCS payors (determined by license type and subject to Provider regulations)
Other Requirements
Must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Company's auto insurance carrier if you drive your vehicle during company business.

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) is a proven safe and harm-free method of behavior modification. All consumer-facing employees of CHCS must take NCI courses facilitated by the CHCS Training team within the first 45 days of employment.
NCI is intended to support human service professionals in giving aggressive, disruptive, or out-of-control people the best care and welfare possible, even in the most violent situation.
NCI training provides staff with the skills to safely recognize and respond to everyday crisis situations that may involve more challenging behaviors. It focuses on prevention and offers proven strategies for safely defusing anxious, hostile or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage.
Justice Intake & Assessment Annex (JIAA) Programs: Licensed Clinicians working within this program must be able to lift at least 50 lbs to maneuver boxes of completed assessments.
Depending on assigned unit/program, applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following may result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A & B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and Family Violence Convictions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience working with individuals with substance use and/or mental illness.

The Settlement Home for Children is a nonprofit in Austin providing structured, trauma-informed care to youth and young adults. We are reopening a key live-in role within our Supervised Independent Living program: Resident Assistant (RA). This position is essential to supporting our young adults as they develop independence in a safe, stable environment.
The Resident Assistant lives on-site in a fully furnished studio apartment and provides support to SIL residents during evenings, weekends, and some holidays when program leadership is not on duty. This role ensures safety, consistency, and guidance for our residents as they navigate independent living.
Roles and Responsibilities
Resident Support:
Assist residents who become locked out of their apartments.
Respond to emergencies and coordinate with leadership or emergency services as needed.
Provide guidance and support to residents in daily living and decision-making.
Maintain appropriate boundaries while fostering a supportive, safe environment.
Administrative Duties:
Submit work orders to the Facility Manager as needed using Google Forms.
Hold the RA cell phone after business hours, on weekends, and on some holidays to respond to resident needs.
Submit weekly written reports to the SIL Director detailing resident behavior, incidents, and any calls received.
Other Duties:
Participate in program projects or additional duties as assigned by SIL leadership.
Qualifications
Must be female.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be able to live on-site in a studio apartment.
Valid drivers license with fewer than 2 moving violations and/or 1 accident in the past 3 years.
Current auto liability insurance.
Ability to pass a pre-employment FBI fingerprint check and drug test per state licensing standards.
Must comply with Texas Department of Family and Protective Services personnel requirements for General Residency Operations.
No pets allowed.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
Must be willing to live and work in a 100% smoke-free and vape-free environment. This includes a strict prohibition on the use of all tobacco, nicotine, and cannabis delivery systems (including vapes/pens) inside SIL building including RA's own apartment.
Subject to both indoor and outdoor conditions.
Must be able to lift/exert up to 30 pounds occasionally and up to 15 pounds frequently.

Role Mission: Students and families are the most important stakeholders at IDEA Public Schools. The role of School Counselor leads the campus family engagement vision, social emotional learning program, and coordination of mental health and counseling supports for all scholars on the campus.
Our key tenets of family engagement, social emotional learning, and student social emotional supports are implemented through the role of the School Counselor to ensure all staff are building authentic relationships with students and families. Data maintenance and analysis is an integral component of effective school-based intervention implementation. SSAs own the validity and accuracy of their goals to drive campus strategies and tactics. Family engagement and student success is the job of all campus team members. The School Counselor will direct and hold all campus team members accountable to fulfill their role.

Compensation:
Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $68,886 and $79,908, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus based on team performance and goal attainment.

Provides individual/group counseling for at-risk students and refers students who need intense or specialized services campus-based Licensed Mental Health Provider and/or outside agencies.
Leads the planning of and execution of student and family engagement events that are aligned to the school's culture, community and family needs and promotes the authentic relationship building between the school and the family.
Leads BOY Professional Development for entire campus to clarify the roles every staff member plays in family engagement.
Manages the campus overall student persistence data to ensure 100% of data accuracy and reporting through close partnership with the PEIMS team on campus. Notify all stakeholders who own the persistence goal of the data and rationale as to why students are leaving to identify and analyze trends. Data management includes At-Risk Coding, Potential Leavers and Dropouts and Leaver Coding for withdrawals.
Partners with the grade level teams to help identify and coordinate intervention for at-risk students with responsibility and accountability structures for Grade Level Admin, API's, GTLs and Teachers.
Leads parent conversations and problem solves to ensure we are meeting the needs of our students and families in collaboration with campus lead team.
Coaches and develops teachers to work with all students and families. Partners with the appropriate lead team/campus team members to support the staff and the student to work together to achieve goals.
Maintain knowledge of community agencies as a resource to meet student and school needs.
Directs implementation of state mandated guidance lessons to all students to develop life skills, promote good character, and develop resilience.
Provides support through feedback, training, coaching, and developing teachers in working with students social/emotional needs in the classroom.
Member of the crisis response team on the campus to provide and ensure student social/emotional needs are being met
Conducts individual and group check-ins and advising meetings with students to address social-emotional issues and provide campus-based supports.
Leads family communications platforms: Remind, Smore (Weekly Parent Newsletter), and Facebook
Administers 2 parent survey: 1 in the Spring and 1 in the Fall to get feedback from parents on communication and events. Is responsible to analyze and create a strategic plan to respond to the parent input.
Administer 1 student survey in the Spring to get feedback from our scholars with the IDEA experience.
90% New Student Persistence
Partners with Enrollment Specialist and APO on the campus to ensure 100% of new student and families receive high quality on-boarding starting on day 1 of school.
Directs and manages through influence all campus team members to their role in family engagement to retain new students from year to year.
Lead the planning and execution of specific new parent events to welcome the new parents to the campus and helps them integrate and get acclimated to the campus culture and expectations with campus lead team.
Leads the parent conversations and addresses concerns of our newest families to ensure they are heard, and the campus is responsive
Partners with the APO to ensure all new student on-boarding is completed and operational support is given at all new student and new parent events
Owns the campus new student persistence to ensure 100% of data accuracy and reporting through close partnership with the PEIMS team on campus. Notify all stakeholders who own the persistence goal of the data and rationale as to why students are leaving to identify and analyze trends.
Conducts individual and group check-ins and advising sessions with new students to build community and sense of belonging.
97.5% Average Daily Attendance (ADA)
Partners with the Operations team to increase and ensure all students are in school on time, every day through proactive communication and motivation with families.
In accordance with the ADA escalation matrix, the counselor is activated when a student is absent 7 or more times to plan for interventions and support of student and family.
Identifies barriers to attendance and support in connecting the family with community resources or hosts in school sessions to support ADA for the student.
Conducts home visit for students that are absent 7 or more times.
Owns the management of the student being placed on the Mission List for chronic absenteeism
90% of assigned teachers use MTW curriculum with fidelity (as defined by students interact with video program 3 days a week)
Lead teacher and campus training on Move This World curriculum and implementation expectations.
Identify and utilize best practice strategies to invest and create a culture of excitement around the integration of an SEL curriculum in the daily schedule.
Conduct regular rotating observations of Move This World blocks using observation rubric. Provide teachers feedback on observation rubric at least 1x/month.
Track curriculum progress and send campus weekly PTG MTW update with glows and grows.
Conduct BOY and EOY assessment on SEL competencies, school climate, safety, and sense of belonging. Review data and create action steps to address campus needs.
Campus earns an “A” on School Counselor Report Card
Collaborates with key stakeholders to meet district expectations for successful implementation of district family engagement and social emotional learning priorities
Facilitates 4 Family Engagement Events (1 per quarter)
