About the Role:
RH2 Engineering is looking for a Civil or Environmental Professional Engineer to be part of our specialty engineering Planning/Analysis team. This group provides drinking water and wastewater engineering planning, analysis and hydraulic modeling services, either as standalone projects or in support of facility design and construction. With your skills you will:
Support hydraulic modeling and analyses for drinking water distribution systems, wastewater and stormwater collection systems, and associated facilities (e.g. pump stations and reservoirs)
Prepare water and wastewater comprehensive plans, engineering reports, and other technical documents
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the design and construction of water, sewer, stormwater, and irrigation projects
Interact directly with clients and review agencies
Mentor and direct Engineers-In-Training (EIT).
Support project management and business development efforts
What you'll bring:
Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or similar from an ABET accredited university
Current P.E. license in the state of Washington (or eligible to obtain by comity)
4-12 years of transferable skills and experience, preferably in public sector consulting
Experience with drinking water and wastewater hydraulic modeling platforms (e.g. WaterGEMS, InfoWater Pro, SewerGEMS, PC-SWMM, and other closed-conduit or open-channel modeling platforms)
Experience with GIS
Strong technical writing, analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a detail-oriented fashion, apply sound professional judgement, and produce high-quality deliverables
Experience coordinating with other engineers and review agencies, as well as interacting with clients
Ability to assist in preparation of project proposals, budgets, and invoice review
May require occasional exposure to work environments that include inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements
Compensation counts:
RH2 has an excellent multi-component compensation package built to recognize and financially reward our employees' contributions throughout their career with the company. Individual base compensation will vary within the range of $44.00 to $63.00/hour based on skills, qualifications, and experience as they relate to the requirements for this position. This position is eligible for RH2's performance bonus, which is equivalent to one month's pay. The bonus is paid mid-year at 50% and year-end at 50%. RH2 values our employees' work/life balance and compensates for overtime at 1.5 times the base rate for hours exceeding 40 regular hours in a work week.

Position Summary:

The Project
$400M Design/Build New Office Annex (NOX) and Embassy Upgrade
New 14-story Office Annex (NOX)
will be comprised of tiered glass volumes covered in slats in order to mitigate Bangkok's hot and humid climate while maintaining views of the landscape.
39 bed Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR)
CACs (Consular and Pedestrian)
2-story Utility Building and 365 vehicle surface parking
Upgrades and site improvements include:
CACs (main and service), new glazing, new doors, and interior finishing
Internal perimeter walls and landscaping
We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year and the project is expected to last 24-36 months.
Housing and transportation allowances provided.
Uplift includes 10% of base salary plus 10% COLA.

Position Description
You will:
Provide NEC project with full range of critical engineering, construction quality assurance, technical oversight.
Perform technical inspections of mechanical work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
Observe onsite construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.
Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.
Requirements

US Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Current US PE license can substitute for degree
7 years construction experience
ABET accredited international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor's or US PE

Position Summary:
This role supports civil engineering design for water and wastewater treatment, pumping, and conveyance systems across the Pacific Northwest. Position Summary:
The Civil Engineer will support the renovation efforts for a historic U.S. diplomatic facility by performing on-site technical inspections, reviewing engineering submittals, and overseeing quality assurance. This is a 24-month assignment based in Athens, Greece, with the potential for extension. A minimum of seven (7) years of construction site experience is required.
Responsibilities:

Understanding of regulatory frameworks under RCRA and CERCLA and familiarity with construction techniques for remedial activities

Experience working on complex remediation projects across multiple market sectors is strongly preferred
Ability to travel to support ongoing environmental projects

* Understand client's drivers and emerging regulations within the stream restoration sector.
Project Management and Execution:
* Lead and grow the aquatic restoration practice to support watershed assessments, stream restoration designs, construction of stream restoration projects, and as-built evaluations following implementation.
* Serve as Project Manager in the successful development and execution of aquatic restoration projects.
* Serve as a technical lead to support and execute the key stages of aquatic restoration project development, including assessments, surveys, analyses, environmental permitting, engineering/design, and construction.
* Manage multi-disciplinary teams to complete projects on time and on budget.
Qualifications:
* Possess a B.S. in a related field (i.e., engineering, biology, planning, environmental studies, or a closely related discipline).
* Exhibit 8 to 10 years of professional experience. This experience may include business development, project management, restoration project implementation, and/or construction.
* 5 or more years of experience in leading or managing technical staff, serving in a project management capacity, and performing senior-level responsibilities.
* Ability to travel throughout the year.
* In depth knowledge of aquatic restoration projects and methodologies.
* Knowledge and experience of the regulatory frameworks of agencies in the Pacific Northwest.
* Some experience with irrigation and water right delivery in the Pacific Northwest.
* Knowledge of software used in aquatic restoration projects (e.g., GIS, CAD, Office Suite,etc).
* Experience conducting stakeholder engagement meetings for aquatic restoration projects.
* Ability to lead and provide subject matter expert review of assessments, analyses, and due diligence reviews of existing or planned projects on behalf of clients.
