About the Role:
The Project Controls Manager, T&D serves as a strategic partner in schedule management, cost controls, and the implementation of project management best practices. In addition to creating and maintaining project schedules, the Project Controls Mgr T&D is responsible for providing oversight to subsidiaries with project scheduling, controls, mentorship, and training.

Essential Functions
Strategic Program & Portfolio Management
Develop and implement enterprise-wide project controls and scheduling training and frameworks to ensure consistency, predictability, and scalability across T&D projects
Scheduling Program Best Practices
Provide strategic guidance to project managers, schedulers and controls, supporting teams to optimizing schedules
Create, update, and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools, ensuring integration with cost and resource plans
Lead project teams with schedule development, logic sequencing, resource loading, and critical path analysis
Design training programs on schedule management tools and methodologies
Lead training for project managers, superintendents, and field leaders on schedule development, tracking, and forecasting
Perform periodic schedule audits to ensure consistency and accuracy across projects
Evaluate schedule performance and provide recovery strategies when delays or risks are identified
Project Controls & Project Management Best Practices
Lead the implementation of standardized processes for cost tracking, forecasting, and change controls
Develop and maintain financial controls for projects
Mentor teams on scheduling and controls best practices
Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned to improve future execution
Collaborate with field and office teams to ensure proper documentation, reporting, and visibility into project performance
Regular and predictable attendance

About You:
Qualifications
7+ years of progressively responsible experience in project controls, scheduling, and program management within the construction (electrical construction preferred) industry
Experience with enterprise platforms such as Procore, JD Edwards, or similar ERP systems
Experience supporting a diverse portfolio of concurrent transmission and distribution projects
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and CPM scheduling tools
Strong knowledge of cost management, earned value analysis, and project forecasting
Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
Willingness and ability to travel 25-50% to project sites and regional offices

Essential Functions
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards to mitigate risk and ensure project success and profitability
Make difficult decisions regarding projects and the allocation of project resources
Assume ultimate responsibility for the outcome of projects
Effectively supervise a team in the day to day management of projects
Train a project management team in CSI company philosophy and systems
Effectively supervise the maintenance of project required logs and tracking systems and take corrective measures as necessary
Supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project and assist in negotiating for an overall
profitable outcome
Maintain all logs required to track the progress of the project
Function as a liaison between the field and the client(s) to facilitate effective construction activities
Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the General Foreman and/or onsite Foreman to ensure the project is being built on schedule and within budget
Investigate any potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures
Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc.
Manage subcontractor activities including associated costs, schedule, and related change orders
Estimate projects as needed
Prepare for and attend monthly financial reviews and accurately project profitability to upper management
Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interest and maintain strong relationship with the client
Engage in and promote business development
Perform Project Manager duties and responsibilities, as needed

Understand and follow CSI policies and procedures
Manage/direct Subcontractors, CSI field personnel and/or other CSI employees (Project Engineers,
Groups Administrators, and Interns) as needed
Manage document control and drawings
Prepare submittals and shop drawings, and review quoted items and commodities
Compose CSI RFIs, manage RFI logs, and review RFIs for cost impact
Manage POs, vendor tracking, and releases
Prepare project budgets for internal tracking and maintain constant understanding of costs and budget
thresholds
Assist with electrical take-offs and project estimating of large jobs
Estimate small jobs and change orders and complete and maintain change order estimates and CO
logs, and track and price EWOs
Work with the lighting department on an as-needed basis to manage light fixtures, controls, and
switchgear tracking logs
Work with the pre-fab department on an as-needed basis
Provide field foremen with information, material tracking, and other administrative functions
Summarize and track time and material paperwork
Take ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
Manage and track subcontracts
Assist Project Manager(s) with reports and job schedule review
Perform job closeouts and O&Ms

EPC Project Engineer

About the Role:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with individuals, managing engineering firms, and following processes and standards to ensure the Company achieves reliable, quality, and safe designs. This person will be responsible for facilitating the design process from conceptual through IFC design. Essential Functions
Manage and direct multiple 3rd party design firms working towards Issued for Construction Drawings for Electrical, Civil, and Structural designs.
Coordinate and lead design reviews at each design milestone. Design reviews will likely include the owner, CSI, and 3rd party personnel.
Perform the overall coordination and integration of technical activities in engineering projects and services. Direct and review project designs and technology integration.
Work with project managers to facilitate design understanding as the start of construction occurs. Ensure there is understanding of the intent of the design and how the design will be audited throughout the construction phase.
Seek opportunities to add value to the project. Perform economic analysis/value engineering to determine cost-effective solutions and prepare written recommendations. Ensure value engineering is incorporated into future designs.
Manage 3rd party engineering resources to ensure deadlines are met, and the construction team has the necessary engineering information to produce a quality project on schedule.
Maintain and manage engineering schedules and budgets to meet the requirements of the project. Possess a full understanding of time and resource management to achieve the results needed for project deadlines.
Review and facilitate approval of materials to be used on the project by attaining Engineer of Record approvals or other resources available.
Ensure takeoffs are complete and accurate for material procurement.
Nurture and maintain key professional relationships with utilities, owners, engineering firms, energy subject matter experts, and others.
Coordinate, lead, and document regularly scheduled calls between applicable parties.
Assure projects are designed and constructed according to all applicable safety standards, including ASTM, NESC, NEC, NFPA, etc.
Ensure design deliverables are received in time to support procurement and project schedule.
Acts as a technical resource for project construction teams.
Acts as engineering liaison for the construction team, 3rd party Engineer of Record, Client, and internal engineering resources from award through completion.
Responsible for engineering document control process, including client and engineering transmittals, RFI's, and associated logs.
Apply for and complete local permits as specified by the contract.
Ensure that each design is developed with consideration for efficient installation, maintenance, and repair. Consult Field Operations Manager and Trade Superintendents as necessary for recommendations.
Review implications of project design changes and make recommendations
Recognize, document, and report cost impacts due to design changes. Share impacts with project management and procurement team.
Perform economic analysis/value engineering to determine cost-effective solutions and prepare written recommendations.
Train and develop Field Engineers and Field Coordinators in engineering management, document control, and RFI processes.
About You:
Qualifications
BS in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering.
Minimum of three years in the solar + BESS EPC, with a strong knowledge of construction sequencing, construction methods, and materials practices, including knowledge of electrical systems.
OSHA 30 certification desired, but not mandatory.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) status or qualified to take test desired, but not mandatory.
Can be a combination of trade, education, and relevant work experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
Database experience is a plus.
Experience with Primavera 6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
Positive and proactive attitude and ability to take initiative.

Knowledge of electrical power engineering principles and familiarity with computer and analytical tools related to equipment sizing, load flow, and power quality.

Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring conformance to contract scope, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate labor needs, equipment, and all project resources.
Oversee project permits, design plans, and drawings.
Develop and manage employee schedules, ensuring accurate time reporting.
Deliver projects on time, within budget, while optimizing cash flow.
Manage project risks, timelines, and cost variances.
Oversee branch operations, including equipment management and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
Make recommendations and decisions on hiring, termination, advancement, and employee status changes.

Education, Experience, and Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 5 years of management experience, ideally within traffic control or construction.
Strong understanding of financial aspects of job costing, variance analysis, and "bid to actual results."
Ability to effectively schedule resources to maximize project efficiency.
Experience in projecting revenue and costs based on backlog and bid pipeline.
Knowledge of branch-specific operations, including experience with unions and labor relations (where applicable).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) with the ability to learn ERP systems.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Involvement in industry trade associations, coalitions with state DOT, or similar groups is preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a background check and drug test.
