Job Overview: The Social Worker will support the KidsFit obesity treatment program at NBIMC Pediatric Health Center and the Pediatric Special Center at Cooperman Barnabas in West Orange. This person will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychosocial support for pediatric patients and their families as part of the pediatric weight management program; KidsFit. This role involves assessing family needs, offering targeted counseling, resource navigation, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to address the social and psychosocial factors of obesity and the associated comorbidities. The LCSW will support the patient and their family to ensure comprehension of program expectations and help address any barriers to participation. Qualifications: * Required: Masters in Social Work * Preferred: two years of clinical social work experience in a pediatric or family social work setting. Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable): * Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Scheduling Requirements * Monday through Friday, some evenings.
