The Middle Fork of the Salmon River season will officially begin on June 1, but our training and early season trips on other rivers will begin in early May. Location: Salmon, ID Summary: The Middle Fork of the Salmon River Manager oversees the day\-to\-day operations and safe conduct of all ROW Middle Fork river trips. The position requires the orchestration of all aspects of trips both on and off river so that trips flow safely, efficiently and with a minimum amount of stress on guides and team leaders and produce positive guest experiences. Responsibilities include logistics, equipment, supplies, transportation, clerical, guide coordination, conducting performance reviews, as well as communication with the main company office and Director of Operations, etc. On the river, the Manager is responsible to ensure ROW meets its goal of providing high\-quality river trips and that standard policies and procedures are followed. Off the river, the Manager handles the administrative duties necessary for each trip’s success, including coordination of communications, logistical concerns with the office, equipment maintenance\/concerns, and coordination of guide duties. The manager performs all guide schedule duties for this operation. As a manager, he or she will seek to foster a positive, supportive work environment that encourages all team members to excel. General Expectations of Managers: ROW Managers serve as role models for guides in a number of ways, including the following: demonstrating an attitude of safety; exhibiting a positive attitude and good work ethic; willingness to resolve conflicts whether between themselves and other guides or managers or between guides who are having difficulties. They are expected to comply with all ROW policies and to inform the Director of Operations if they disagree or will have trouble enforcing one, prior to the season. Job Responsibilities • Perform high quality CT and X-Ray procedures in accordance with established imaging protocols and physician orders. • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment safely and effectively, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis. • Provide excellent patient care across all age groups, maintaining professionalism and empathy throughout every encounter. • Assess patient needs, explain procedures clearly, and ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after imaging. • Coordinate with Radiologists and fellow technologists to optimize workflow, protocols, and image quality. • Maintain equipment, report issues promptly, and adhere to all quality assurance and safety standards. • Participate in on-call rotation and assist in maintaining departmental efficiency for STAT and urgent cases. Minimum Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. • ARRT certification (or eligibility upon hire) required. • At least 2 years of experience in Computed Tomography (CT) or Radiography preferred. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy under pressure, and deliver exceptional diagnostic images. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
