As a Production Attendant you will prepare packaging in accordance with customer specifications, company policy, and GMP's. You are also responsible for maintaining accurate records, adhering to all safety measures, and the efficiency of the cheese packaging process.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and H&S.
Efficiently package cheese into desired packaging material. Identify and communicate any out-of-spec product conditions; follow the established notification protocol.
Assist in the set-up of the packaging process, to include machinery, date code printers, computers, product labels, proper vat selection, added ingredients, etc.
Quality checks to assure product is packaged according to customer specifications on production sheet (price/date/label/packaging).
Ability to read and comprehend production worksheets.
Keep work area neat, clean, and organized at all times.
Make productive use of down time.
Attends various mandatory safety and departmental meetings.
Able to rotate into all positions on the line.
Box and palletize boxes according to instructions: ensuring accurate counts and proper identification.
Sanitize lines when needed.
Enter data on production reports

Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment, and following approved chemical handling procedures.

Inspect and verify readiness of critical equipment, including nitrogen injection systems, belt cleaning brushes, and tail pulley squeegees.
Collect, test, and evaluate binder slurry and wrapper slurry samples on an hourly basis, monitoring temperature, pH, viscosity, solids, and foam density.
Adjust binder and wrapper slurry processes as required based on test results and operational conditions.
Deliver required slurry and base-web samples to the main laboratory in accordance with established sampling frequency and procedures.
Record all required production and quality data accurately on Con-Mix and Wet End control documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe wet end work area throughout the shift, with particular attention to end-of-shift conditions.
Inspect gaskets and related components during clean-up and replace as needed to ensure equipment integrity.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision to support production goals and maintain safety and quality policies.
