**Your Key Responsibilities**
+ Realize development, implementation and optimization of manufacturing technology for production of new and existing Schaeffler products.
+ Initiate, drive, and coordinate the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing technologies for new and existing products by using statistical measures in terms of quality, efficiency, sustainability, and robustness.
+ Conduct process investigation to fine-tune equipment and process set-up considering product, material, tooling, and location.
+ Review new technology launches regarding product design/material feasibility, impact on cycle time, tool definition, and quality.
+ Support production to identify and solve production issues sustainably and initiate and conduct troubleshooting based on production data using statistical and digital measures.
+ Create required manufacturing process documentation including equipment/technology release documents and set-up instructions.
+ Apply commonly defined process and equipment standards and consider international and regionally defined manufacturing technology-related norms.
+ Develop and negotiate equipment and tool specifications with potential suppliers from the standard supplier portfolio including timing and investment, and specify validation requirements and validate production equipment, manufacturing technologies, and related tools.
+ Cooperate closely with Schaeffler Operations manufacturing technology networks, division, business division, and business unit manufacturing technology groups, and within the region while maintaining close collaboration with other central functions like Purchasing, IT, Maintenance, and Quality.

What You'll Do
From your very first day on the job, you'll receive guidance and coaching so you can learn the ropes. You'll work with everyone from buyers to sellers to dealers in coordinating and validating customer returns and claims. With Guidance, responsibilities include:
Reviews customer claims to verify that they meet Manheim's National Arbitration policies and any account-specific guidelines.
Investigates basic, less complex cases (e.g., late title claims, basic condition report claims, vehicle availability, post-sale inspection fails, mechanical/structural/undisclosed vehicle damage, etc.) or those requiring more prescriptive decision-making.
Interfaces with all departments involved in the complaint (i.e., reconditioning, front office, dealer services, vehicle entry, etc.), including during the fact finding and investigative phases.
Uses appropriate resources to investigate and facilitate relevant inspection, documentation, and communication to ensure appropriate actions are completed to move cases forward or to resolution.
Uses appropriate levels/limits of financial approval authority to resolve cases.
Evaluate claims by obtaining, comparing, evaluating, and validating various forms of information.
Prepares and facilitates communication for resolution via telephone, email, and in-person discussion.
Mediates disputes and negotiates repair and/or pricing of disputed vehicles to arrive at a mutually acceptable solution and to keep vehicles sold.
Monitors and maintains accurate files for each arbitration case, verifying the accuracy of all required documentation, including invoices and settlement agreements.
Engages with supervisor/manager to determine if escalation is required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

This position requires an employee to maintain qualifications in 3 different classifications identified by management. The daily work requirements for this position, will depend on the current business need, as directed by management. Requirements and schedule may change multiple times during the day, due to business conditions.
Inspector:
* Identify damage, missing parts and mechanical problems by inspecting all customer vehicles at time of receipt (i.e. interior, exterior, odometer reading, trunk area, engine compartment, noting any damage or repair to frame, paint or other engine noise, AC/heater operation, radio, navigation system, tire condition, etc.).
* Write electronic condition reports (ECR).
* Provides accurate and complete documentation of overall vehicle condition to support the processing and sale of client / customer consigned vehicles in lane and on line including but not limited to:
* VIN recognition
* Proper notation of all options and equipment
* Proper odometer reading and operable function
* Parts pricing using Mitchell Collision Estimate Guides
* Recommended labor actions / severity / pricing
* Identification of value added options
* Identification of basic mechanical conditions
* Identification of common wear and tear
* Fluid level checks / evaluation
* Completing inspection process and data entry in appropriate time frames
* Digital photo collection to specific criteria guidelines
* Test drives when applicable
* Determine grade using Manheim Grade Scale when applicable
* Estimate repair costs according to appropriate guidelines.
* Prepare selected vehicles for Internet viewing by taking digital pictures during the inspection process and writing Internet Condition Reports.

* Follows the work instructions provided by client and/or Manheim Inspections using the Manheim Electronic Condition Report Program, Inspection Solution T1 and Mirage Program, or client-instructed paper Condition Reports.
* Conduct OVE courtesy walk around inspections.

* Transfer completed images into vehicle condition report format
* May adjust and enhance digital images to meet or exceed quality standards
* Ensures that cameras and other imaging equipment is properly maintained and stored
* Takes digital photographs of vehicles for condition reports and uploads to company website.
* Ensures that all standard required photos are taken and uploaded
* Performs self-audits to ensure that images meet required quality standards.
* Sets-up, troubleshoots, and resolved technical/equipment issues.
* Maintains current awareness of imaging trends and technology advancements.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Check In Specialist:
* Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 computer using a handheld computer (or provide information via headset to co-worker for data entry) for each vehicle received at the Auction: Vehicle Identification number (VIN) Stock number Dealer identification number Make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.
* Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
* Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
* Flag "no key" cars.
