Primary responsibilities will include: Multi-faceted role to assist with processes in a rapid tooling lab as well as in the manufacturing of prototype ceramic cores and wax patterns Operate injection molding machines, and process prototype parts as required to meet customer requirements Occasionally tasked with tooling and product inspections, both manual as well as with structured light scanning Operate equipment in a rapid prototyping tooling environment, primarily additive (3D printing) in nature. Responsible for standardizing/documenting procedures Work closely with engineering and other technicians, with a common goal of producing quick turn core, pattern and casting solutions in support of both internal and external development projects. Communicate with numerous groups and juggle priorities in fast paced environment. Performs and documents a variety of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities, as required. Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment. Performs other duties as assigned.
