The role
Reporting to the Group Director of Export Control, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of export and customs operations for Helsing France. You will deploy corporate automation tools, coordinate with group policies, and have the technical authority for the France export control operations. Your duties also involve translating strategic KPIs into actionable measures and integrating local regulatory requirements into business processes. Furthermore, you will be tasked with designing and implementing customs procedures and instructions for the Helsing SAS entity.
The day-to-day
* Address issues and non-compliances with Export Control and Customs regulations/processes to Group Export Control
* Identify and assess Export Control and Customs risks of Helsing France and its dependent subsidiaries
* Anticipate and manage export authorizations and customs permits (if necessary, if applicable) and be the direct interface with the Authorities in France such as DGA and other institutions
* Responsible for the creation of France specific requirements and specifications (IT and NON-IT)
* Responsible for the maintenance of the French export control intranet including its further development specifically for FR and develop a customs knowledge center for Helsing SAS
* Responsibility and / or cooperation for very complex programs and projects (complexity can be based on product, supply chain, countries involved, export control regulations) for FR
* Responsible for transforming FR Sanctions and Embargo Regulations to operational needs for Helsing SAS.
* Classification of Items pursuant to the French Export Control and AFCI
* Commodity Code Determinations pursuant to FR Customs Laws and Regulations
* Building a FR Customs center of Competence
* Responsible for Export and Import as well for any reporting pursuant to FR laws and regulations

What you'll do
* Maintain and continuously improve the local regulatory compliance frameworks to ensure that all regulatory requirements in France, including the various ACPR and Tracfin guidances, are embedded in local policies and procedures;
* Anticipate local regulatory AML obligations and risks, and ensure these are addressed in a practical and scalable way;
* Lead regulatory engagements and manage relationships with regulators and supervisors in France around financial crime risks to achieve Adyen's strategic opportunities;

Who you are
* You have at least 7 years of experience in a regulatory and/or compliance function within the payments-, financial services- and/or fintech industry;
* Your knowledge of the French AML/CFT regulatory landscape and best practices is well established, preferably in a recent comparable role in a French financial institution;
* You have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as experience in managing the relationship with French regulators or supervisors and internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions;

SUMMARY:
The Police Officer, under general supervision, provides specialized professional law enforcement skills by giving service, information, and aid to the university community and campus facilities as circumstances require, preventing crime, suppressing disturbances, investigating criminal offenses, and arresting offenders.

Be available to assist faculty, staff and students with general information, inquiries, or other needs.
Testifies as a witness in court in connection with arrests, juvenile hearings, depositions, and similar proceedings.
Serves arrest warrants, search warrants and other papers, as required.
Keeps informed and aware of persons and places suspected of illegal activity and/or the potential for problems within an assigned area.
