ABOUT THE ROLE The Community-Based MentalHealth Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) coordinates services and planning for children who are referred through social service, probation or mentalhealth departments and are in the process of stepping down from institutional into family or family-like settings. Services will be provided almost exclusively in the community in families' homes, group homes, foster homes, schools, etc. The primary role is to ensure that all parties are working together toward stability for the child and family. ABOUT START
START (Short Term Access to Resources and Treatment) provides crisis stabilization and connection to longer term services. We are a small team and we work together closely to support youth and families facing significant challenges. Because this is a hybrid position, proactive communication is an incredibly important part of success in this role. Self-motivation and organization are also extremely important, as we ask staff to manage ever shifting priorities and ongoing documentation expectations independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Promptly meet with clients and caregivers on a regular basis to further treatment goals utilizing culturally informed and best practice modalities
* Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for the purpose of care planning and support
* Collaborate with agency staff, caregivers, other professionals and interested parties to formulate and implement individual client care plans, behavioral programs, and interventions
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members and providers, as needed
* Complete assessment and evaluation process of clients in order to develop and implement the care plan
* Provide assistance in case planning and consultation to team members on clinical issues, as well as casework issues, as appropriate
* Chart mentalhealth notes, care plans, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner
* Maintain availability for crisis intervention services, such as on-call rotation, if applicable
* Comply with all child abuse reporting and Medicaid/Medi-Cal requirements in accordance with standards set by Seneca
* Maintain strict confidentiality of client and business operations information
* Commit to and engage in self-evaluation as well as organizational goals, strategies, and systemic practices regarding diversity, equity and inclusion
* Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's crisis response training
* This may include intervening with the youths' behavioral program through physical management
QUALIFICATIONS
* Education/Experience requirements:
* Bachelor's degree + 4 years experience working with children/youth and families with complex and enduring needs in a mentalhealth setting
* Experience working with children in out-of-home care preferred
* Own vehicle, Valid California driver's license and insurability with Seneca's automobile policy
* Ability to travel throughout Contra Costa County
* TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
* Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Position Overview
The Youth Worker will report to the Assistant Director. The Youth Worker will have the primary responsibility of engaging 25 very high risk young adults through relationships and programming as well as working with community partners (police, probation officers, community members) within the communities Roca is serving.
The successful Youth Worker will work closely with team members, supervisors, and others within the organization to ensure that each young person is driving to outcomes of economic independence and living out of harm's way. General Responsibilities
- Facilitate, apply, practice, and demonstrate Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) using Roca's Intervention Model.
- Consistently exercise and application of Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) informally, formally and virtually.
- Assist and role model in the process of obtaining and sustaining employment through job search and overall workforce professionalism.
- Engage with other aspects of work, such as but not limited to, court engagement, work behind the wall, peacemaking circles, work with the community, productive and professional participation in meetings, etc.

We're currently seeking a motivated, team-oriented professional to work as a Plant Health Care Technician. This is a challenging year-round position requiring a desire to work outdoors, knowledge of plant I.D., pests and diseases, as well as practical experience in spraying, fertilization and IPM. You will be applying control measures and fertilization applications to trees and shrubs on our commercial maintenance properties. As a PHC you will scout, diagnose, treat sites and provide feedback to your project director on pest populations, disease stresses and plant health.
You'd be responsible for:
Applying fertilizers and pesticides to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
Driving company vehicle to customer locations
Responding on a timely basis to customer requests
Completing required production forms and customer instructions
Performing a daily five-minute, 360 degree inspection of truck and equipment before taking the vehicle out on the road and upon return
Maintaining vehicle and equipment cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
Ability to become a licensed spray operator
Excellent communication skills, leadership potential and an aptitude to train
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to communicate with and serve multiple clients
Ability to complete paperwork accurately and timely
Dedication to safety
Proficiency in use of landscape equipment
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish a plus

Position Summary
