As the Crisis Counselor, you will provide crisis support for youth enrolled in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The Visitation Counselor is responsible for providing supervision of visits between children and parents who are referred by the Department of Children and Family Services and are working toward reunification. The visits will take place at a visitation center, foster family home, parent or relative home or in the community. The Crisis Clinician provides comprehensive assessment, crisis intervention, and case management services to children and families. They conduct assessments of needs, safety planning, and crisis intervention as needed. In addition, Crisis Clinicians link the youth to further mental health services if needed, such as Wraparound, psychotherapy, support groups, and other community services.
