Also creates drawings and bills of material for the production of tank trailers. This position will report to the local Engineering Supervisor. The position will require working individually and with teams. Essential Functions: * Assist senior engineers and operations with shop floor process and product improvements * Assist senior engineers with process improvements within the department * Understand DOT code and how to apply to tank trailers * Use CAD system to create models and drawings for parts and trailer sub systems * Create and manage items and BOMs in ERP system for parts and trailer sub systems * Read and decipher AutoCAD drawings. * Operate Inventor and Vault to create accurate drawings.
