Job Summary
As a member of the Engineering staff, the Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design of new products, prototypes, and carries through to full production. This Engineer will also be responsible for technical support of some mature products currently in production. This includes Code Changes, maintenance of Bills of Material, electrical schematics and drawings, assistance in troubleshooting and new installation verifications, design reviews, simple mechanical designs, documentation packages, pre-production builds and transfers to production.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

* Solid waste engineering design and permitting (landfills, transfer stations and recycling facilities)
* Prepare technical reports such as operating plans, CQA reports, and permit applications
* Collect air and water monitoring samples
* Analyze technical data
* Effective communication with colleagues and superiors
* Use of computer-aided design (AutoCAD) packages to design projects
* Monitor and document construction activities at solid waste landfill facilities including field inspection and testing of soils and geosynthetic liners. On-site job training will be provided, as necessary.
* Field duties that include the following: supervision and performance of construction quality assurance and construction quality control activities in several states, including the construction of landfill components and other environmental control systems; collaboration and coordination with senior staff and management and direction of support staff.

Qualifications
