Responsibilities
Interns will function as Financial Analysts in one of the company's key financial/operational departments. Financial reporting and analysis may cover any part of the business including: Flight Crews, Airport Operations, Maintenance, and Strategic Benchmarking. Each participant will be assigned a mentor and will participate in various training opportunities during the internship. Upon completion of the internship, each intern will have an understanding of the job functions of an analyst as well as an understanding of the commercial aviation business.
The responsibilities of this position include analysis of financial statements, forecasting changes to the budget, and involvement in special projects.
Typical job duties include:
Analyzing Envoy's monthly financial results and understanding financial controls.
Develop strategic analyses using analytic systems such as Microsoft Excel, SAP, Essbase, and Sabre software suite.
Building automated analytical processes and improving control tools.
Closing monthly financials and forecasting remaining year changes to the financial operating plan.
Analysis of capital and non-capital spending, within AR's and purchasing agreements
Present analysis to upper-level management, communicating financial results and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and the ability to prioritize work and projects in order to meet deadlines and objectives. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time, and be self-motivated.
