Nucoat North America, LLC is seeking a strategic and hands-on Color Match Lab Manager to lead our color formulation, quality assurance, and sample development operations. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily lab activities, guide the color matching team, and ensure that all products meet or exceed quality expectations for the window and door coatings market. You will work closely with cross-functional partners, drive process improvements, and uphold Nucoat's commitment to precision and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise and develop color lab personnel through coaching, training, and performance management.
Coordinate daily workflows to meet production, R&D, and customer-driven priorities.
Maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence within the lab.
Color Formulation & Technical Oversight
Direct the development of accurate, repeatable color formulas for customers and production operations.
Review and approve batch formulas, sample matches, and adjustments completed by lab staff.
Lead complex color-matching projects and mentor team members on advanced techniques.
Process Improvement & Quality Assurance
Establish, refine, and maintain color-matching procedures, documentation, and lab protocols.
Analyze results, validate outcomes, and ensure alignment with specifications and customer expectations.
Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
Technology & Equipment Management
Oversee the use of color match software and automated tinting systems to ensure optimal performance.
Manage conversion of manual formulas into automated platforms and maintain formula databases.
Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and in good working order.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Customer Support
Partner with production, sales, quality, and customer service teams to resolve color-related issues quickly and effectively.
Provide technical support to customer service and engage directly with customers when needed.
Present results, participate in evaluations, and offer informed recommendations in both formal and informal settings.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education preferred.
Prior experience in a coatings lab or color-matching environment required.
Demonstrated leadership experience in a lab or production setting.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities.

TECHNICAL OPERATIONS 1. Supervises and directs departmental technical operations and human resources. 2. Promotes strong customer service orientation with a zero tolerance for inappropriate or suboptimal performance. 3. Acts as interdepartmental liaison resolving operational and technical problems within department and between laboratory and other departments as they arise. 4. Investigates specimen problems, service complaints and any delays in performance of procedures. 5. Acts as consult to physicians and other hospital departments, assumes management functions in concert with the division manager. 6. Develops, evaluates and implements new procedures when necessary to improve function, productivity and service. 7. Assists division manager in assuring all regulatory standards CAP, CLIA, ASC p are met within the area. 8. Maintains appropriate documents and manuals, reviewing and revising as necessary while maintaining optimal cost effective delivery of lab services.

Distributes tools and equipment to students for classroom and laboratory use, documents disbursements, and collects and stores tools following use. Cleans tools, equipment, and floor.
Cleans and maintains the lab area. Opens and closes the Lab at shift end and ensures equipment is stored in the proper location to secure the Automotive Lab.
Ensures tools, equipment, and training aids are functional, operational, and performs needed diagnostic services and minor repairs. Replaces tools and equipment when necessary.
Prepares new training aids and donated vehicles for laboratory use. Perform periodic and safety maintenance on automotive lab equipment. Utilize college approved contractors if repairs are necessary.
Performs vehicle preventive maintenance. Charges batteries, maintains fuel levels, monitors tire pressure, and performs other maintenance of a routine nature. Updates automotive computerized equipment.
Inventory & Clerical Support
Maintains and updates inventory of tools, special service kits, equipment, stock items, and vehicles. Monitors disbursements, orders needed items, and obtains bid offers on new equipment. Utilizes college approved contractors to ensure proper handling and disposal of waste oil and other hazardous materials.
Use college approved methods of handling recycling materials. Keeps accurate records. Completes and maintains required documentation, including inventory reports, equipment maintenance records, work orders, and requisitions.
Program Support
Assists instructors. Obtains and returns training materials, sets up vehicles and other training aids, and arranges chairs, tables, and equipment. Assist with breaking down labs and putting away tools and training aids when class is over, if necessary.
Answers routine questions, gives automotive lab tours, provides general information, and performs other duties to maintain good public and student relations.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Degree or GED with technical or vocational automotive training
1 to 3 years progressively responsible experience servicing and repairing vehicles or working in a tool room or parts department.

Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Procedure Preparation:

Operate X-ray fluoroscopy equipment and assist with imaging during diagnostic tests, such as angiograms, to visualize blood vessels and heart function.
Monitor vital signs (e.g., heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation) during procedures and report any abnormalities to the physician.
Administer medications under physician direction, such as sedatives or contrast dyes, ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure.
Post-Procedure Care:
Monitor patients for immediate complications after the procedure, such as bleeding, changes in vital signs, or signs of infection.
Assist in transferring the patient from the procedure table to recovery, ensuring comfort and safety during transport.
Help with patient recovery by monitoring cardiac rhythm, vital signs, and the insertion site for any signs of complications, particularly bleeding or hematoma formation.
Provide post-procedure instructions to patients and their families, including advice on post-operative care, activity restrictions, and follow-up appointments.
Equipment Management and Maintenance:
Maintain, clean, and sterilize the cath lab equipment and instruments, ensuring they are functioning properly and ready for the next procedure.

Scrubbing in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
Obtaining and recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating-hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
Monitoring the patient‘s hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
Participating in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Cath Lab Rads should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
Must have 1 year of experience. The Cath Lab Rad must have BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification, and state specific licensing when required.
