The Cashier provides warm, friendly, and immediate greetings to guests at the door. Records guest information and provides accurate quote time when appropriate. Seats, and presents clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional, and quick manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Greeting and seating guests, presenting menus to guests, informing them of special menu items
Working in a team environment with the ability to be an effective team player
Maintaining complete knowledge of Restaurant's food offering and preparation
Providing guests with hospitality in a manner that achieves Company service standards and exceeds their expectations
Taking guest information and quoting wait time to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available
Planning reservations and wait list parties in advance, at or within the given time or time frame
Reviewing the floor plan to assess current and upcoming table availability changes
Observing tables and keeping track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
Cleaning, organizing, and stocking menus at host area
Answering phone in accordance with Company standards; answering questions concerning the menu and restaurant
Interacting with guests coming in and as they leave, ensuring a positive dining experience
Filling to go orders, if applicable
Maintaining restrooms throughout shift
Supporting waiters and kitchen staff in other duties as required
Taking pride in personal appearance; reporting to work in a neat and clean uniform; maintaining well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy
Displaying integrity and honesty in all aspects of your employment
Performing other duties as directed

Position Summary

Responsibilities
* Event Setup and Preparation: Prepare banquet rooms according to event specifications, including setting up tables, chairs, linens, and service stations while ensuring all items meet quality and presentation standards.
* Service Execution: Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to guests during events, including serving courses, refilling beverages, and promptly addressing guest needs.
* Clean-Up and Reset: Break down and clean event spaces after services, including clearing tables, storing equipment, and resetting the room for the next event while adhering to company cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
* Experience in Food Service or Hospitality: Prior experience as a banquet server, waiter/waitress, or in a similar role in the food and beverage or hospitality industry is preferred.
* Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to stay composed and efficient during busy events.
* Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide a welcoming and accommodating experience for guests.
* Physical Stamina and Dexterity: Ability to stand for extended periods, carry heavy trays, and move quickly while maintaining precision and attention to detail.
* Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.

Responsibilities:
Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, take food and drink orders accurately, and serve items promptly and courteously.
Bartending: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. This includes mixing cocktails, pouring beer and wine, and ensuring proper portioning.
Food Service: Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables, ensuring presentation standards are met and special requests are accommodated.
Order Management: Utilize POS system efficiently for order entry, processing payments, and managing tabs.
Menu Knowledge: Possess a thorough understanding of all food and beverage menu items, including daily specials, ingredients, and preparation methods, to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash, process credit card transactions, and manage end-of-shift reconciliations.
Bar & Dining Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining tables, chairs, and overall serving space. This includes wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and light cleaning duties.
Inventory & Stocking: Assist with stocking the bar, ensuring beverages, glassware, and other supplies are readily available. Report low stock levels as needed.
Customer Satisfaction: Anticipate guest needs, address concerns promptly and professionally, and strive to exceed expectations.
Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to alcohol service, including checking IDs to verify legal drinking age.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, other servers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Opening/Closing Duties: Perform assigned opening and closing duties, which may include setting up/breaking down dining areas, cleaning equipment, and securing inventory.
