What to expect.
This is an opportunity to help your clients, who may struggle with accessing standard care, meet their goals and ensure they receive the treatment they need.
Specific responsibilities include:
Helping clients achieve their treatment goals in partnership with the treatment team.
Communicating and coordinating services with outside medical providers.
Overseeing medication management under the direction of the team prescriber.
Developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, their support system, community agencies, and the Sheppard Pratt organization to provide comprehensive care.
Work hours typically follow a Monday - Friday schedule. Must have availability for occasional evening and/or weekend work. You will have independence and flexibility to schedule your appointments and complete your work under the program director's direct approval and supervision.

The pay range for this position is $82,400.00 minimum to $90,640.00 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

We offer cutting edge treatments such as CAR-T and immunotherapy. The staff cares for patients from birth to 26 years of age. This unit provides physical, psychological and spiritual care for patients and families who are navigating the challenges of oncologic processes and transplant. Our primary nursing model and commitment to patient/family-centered care facilitate excellent nursing care to patients with complex needs. Pediatric oncology inpatient nurses also can work in our ambulatory clinic, which further promotes continuity of care for pediatric oncology and stem cell transplant patients.
