As a Service Specialist, you will:
* Diagnose and repair electronic control system malfunctions
* Provide sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings, as well as interact with Service Manager, Service Project Manager, and subcontractors on projects to coordinate activities and report any problems or changes
* Meet regularly with customers to become familiar with operating problems; keep customers informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues, and recommend system enhancements, upgrades, and or repairs
* Provide training to customers on electronic control systems operations; deliver manuals and documentation to the customer for training needs
* Compile job documentation, such as certificates of completion, customer training forms, training certificates, and punch lists
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
* 1+ years of experience installing and/or servicing electronic control and/or HVAC equipment
* Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment; working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in various conditions
* Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet as well as able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted

In this role you will: We are currently seeking a Windows/VmWare Administrator to support our work with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, VA.
This is a mid-level to senior administrator position that supports the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Infrastructure Services Division's (ISD) Operating Systems Operations Section (OSOS) by performing 24X7X365 administration and maintenance activities on various Windows or Unix servers in use at the USPTO. Responsibilities:
Migration and Management of virtual machines within VMware/ESX environment
Upgrade of VMware environment following established SOP
Ensuring that the PTO receives the highest quality support possible for their server equipment by providing customer focused service with a high attention to detail.
Performing routine server maintenance to include installation of hardware and OS patches, hotfixes, configuration changes, updates, etc.
Monitoring the USPTO ITSM (Remedy) problem reporting system and responding to problem reports according to established procedures and guidelines.

Job Description
Company/Position Overview:
(W2 only, no c2c or third party inqueries)
Work on maintaining existing legacy applications while also be involved in building new enhancements / building new applications for the customer.
Use Oracle Sql, PL-SQL (including MOD PL-SQL) along with some Java & Java Scripting tools and technologies
Use Agile Methodology during the lifecycle of the project
Work on a DevOps environment for code scanning, quality checks and deployment across multiple environments
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
:
4+ years of hands-on experience in programming using Oracle Sql and PL-SQL (preferably using Mod PL/SQL functionality)
2+ years of hands-on experience in programming using Java, JavaScript and Angular/Bootstrap or Struts/Spring framework
2+ years of knowledge and experience on Agile methodology
Good communication skills and a great team player
Position requires Permanent Resident or US Citizenship.
Candidate should have been within US for at least 4.5 years during the last 5 years period (after taking out any out of country vacations).
Should be able to clear the agency's Public Trust Clearance, drug test and other employment history / background checks.
Will require occasional travel to client site in Washington DC from time to time.
Desired Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills):
A Bachelor's degree
Certification on Oracle or Java will be a plus
